14.01.2022 *Milestone alert* Club Stalwart Craig Nelson plays his 200th game for the Rats this week. This good looking fella has shown he is more than just a pretty face claiming the top grades best player, the Newman medal, not once, not twice, but three times! A great clubman, Nels has spent time on the committee and frequently lends a helping hand wherever he can. Being an all round good guy, he also plays as a allrounder taking over 200 wickets and scoring close to 3000 runs for the club playing a lot of his cricket in the top sides. The club congratulates Craig Nelson on 200 games and thanks him for his contribution to the club.

14.01.2022 Good luck to our 2nd and 4th grade teams who kick off their seasons today, @ Burrendah vs Willetton, and @ Riverton vs Kardinya respectively. Get down and give them a shout! Go Rats!

06.01.2022 WIDE BRIMMED HATS HAVE ARRIVED! The club is pleased to announce that wide-brimmed hats embroidered with the clubs logo are now being distributed to financial players. The club would like to acknowledge the support of the City of Canning, who provided the club with a grant to fund the purchase of the hats and acknowledge the grants officers within the council who have always been so supportive and knowledgeable when progressing grant requests. We cannot fault the support they ...provide to community groups within the city via a diverse range of grant opportunities. The damage the sun can do is well known, therefore the club is keen for all our players to have the gear they need to reduce exposure to the sun whilst playing cricket.

Nikhil bowled 4 overs, 3 maidens and 1 wide to finish with figures of 4/1, and a run out, dismissing Willetton for 133. Fantastic effort Nik, and congratulations to 2nd grade on the win. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone. If you’re like me you are all itching to play some cricket, so I have some good news. It looks like the season will start on the 17th of October. I’m not sure if that’s all grades or just the 2 day teams but will let you all know as soon as I do. ... What that means is we would like to see some more numbers at training. If you haven’t been down yet or only been able to come to a few sessions now the times to start getting those cobwebs out. Tuesday Thursday training is now up and running and also don’t forgot we have another two sessions at the Gosnells District indoor nets, with the next one being this Saturday..! Hope to see you there..!
