10.03.2022 Very excited to announce that manufacturing process of Darling Baaka has begun. Delivery should be around mid-October. Dee has excelled herself with a great image for the CD! There are Darters everywhere along the Darling Baaka. This will be a limited release of only 500 copies.

24.01.2022 Just finished this track featuring an F# minor contra bass Native American Indian Flute made from Ancient Kauri and Crystal Singing Bowl (3rd Chakra) The track ...is called 'The God Tree' after the locally named God tree located at Perry Sandhills, near Wentworth NSW. The God tree is an ancient Murray River Red Gum Tree rumoured to be over 1000 years old. Only when you stand beneath its canopy, can you get a feeling for how magnificent & huge it really is. 14.01.2022 Much to my amusement, my most streamed song on Spotify is Chocolate Jesus. It's being played in Russia, Germany, France, UK, US & Australia in particular but shows up all over the place. It was originally recorded as a bit of a joke :-) My most streamed song on Facebook is a duet with a butcher bird. I love the randomness of life!

13.01.2022 Flow - inspired by ambient sounds of Australian waterways set to wonderfully calming and relaxing musical textures. Flow takes the listener to a space of calm and tranquility. Eighteen months in the making, Flow is a high quality musical artwork, finely crafted from the perception of its creator, Merrilyn Air. Following her highly successful album River Tracks: Songs of the Darling, Merrilyn traveled some of the most beautiful beaches and waterways of Australia collecting amb...ient sounds for 'Flow'. In a process of meditation on these sounds, music flowed in a stream of consciousness using guitar, piano or flute. This music was then 'coloured', as an artist would paint, with rich musical textures. The result is an album that shuts out the noise of our modern world and massages our minds into a state of calming tranquility. Flow is now available on Google Play (Android devices) or iTunes (Apple)

06.01.2022 While playing my flute at the Murray-Darling junction today, a group of butcherbirds joined in from the treetops. We had quite a call/response thing happening and another bird nearby joined in with gusto (not sure what it was).
