We were privileged to have Federal Member for Barker Tony Pasin pop in to say hello to our residents and see first hand the Commonwealth Governments Residential Aged Care COVID-19 vaccination program rolling out. Thanks to our awesome staff and the Aspen Medical team for doing a great job Well Done to our residents that were vaccinated today they all loved the yummy scones with jam and cream treat while waiting their 15 minutes after the vaccination thanks to our wonderful kitchen staff

23.01.2022 When we heard the PS Murray Princess would be coming past our facility we rushed outside to get the best seats in the house! The sunshine was beautiful to sit, chat and relax in while we waited for the spectacular Murray Princess to come around the corner. It's now the talk of the facility! What an exciting afternoon!

21.01.2022 VEGGIE GARDEN UPDATE Our veggie pods are in full swing and we have produce coming out of our ears! Getting out in the garden is a great chance for us to get our hands working, have some chitter chatter with fellow residents and staff members and soak in some Vitamin D and with the warmer weather fast approaching you will see us spending a lot more time outside. Wellness Program Manager, Paula, spoke to residents about the different types of abuse elders can be subjected to and how to report this to the correct authorities. Riverview staff undergo training annually to recognise the signs of elder abuse and what they can do to assist the resident. 04.01.2022 Although the nights are getting pretty cold the days have still been lovely! We take every opportunity we can to get outside when the weather is fine to soak in the rays. You will see us gardening, knitting, playing lawn games (like bowls in the picture below) and just spending the day socialising outside with one another.
