22.04.2022 Can anyone open their home to Chopper and babysit him for 2-3 weeks, while his human dad is at work please? He’s currently in Pemberton.

19.02.2022 EMERGENCY DONATIONS NEEDED FOR OUR PRECIOUS WOMBAT PLEASE SHARE Hi guys, we need your urgent help. We need funds immediately so we can help Dozer.it's life... and death. Touch and go and we have to act fast. I’ll quickly fill you in on why we need such urgent help. Early this morning, we received a call from a fellow wombat carer. One of her babies became gravely ill last night, and despite racing him to the vet, he did not settle all night. The poor wombat did not sleep and she nursed her baby boy Dozer all throughout the night. He started to go downhill further, and despite sitting at the vet clinic all morning, her baby needs expert veterinary care. Dozer lives at least 8 hours drive from the sanctuary and our vet, and without oxygen, he may not even make the trip. Our only option is to hire a chartered plane to fly us up with oxygen and bring him back to receive urgent veterinary care. The flight is only 45 minutes either way, and this gives Dozer the best chance to live. With an unidentified condition and very critical, we may still lose him, but boy, will we provide him with the best fighting chance! A big thanks to Mount Barker Veterinary Clinic for their ongoing support and helping us on a minute’s notice As you know, this is why we were put on the planet. To deal with such emergencies. We wouldn’t have it any other way. However, it comes at such a cost and we need your help. We know it will cost at least $10,000 and depending on his condition, this could climb significantly. We receive no government funding so are completely reliant on your support, especially in times of need like these. We will do whatever is needed to save Dozer but need you right here, right now. Please please help us. Just $5 from each and every one of you would make such a difference. It’s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will genuinely help save Dozer’s life. If you could please write the word DONE below after you have donated and remember to share this far and wide. We need everyone’s support to help save Dozer. We’re crossing everything x We need you more than ever. Please donate now: https://wombat-awareness-organisation-sa-inc.giveeasy.org/h

08.01.2022 When you have one of the best support people in the world. On a par with Renata Moca, Paul Moca, Ana Luz, Drew Fisher, Salome Tjordman and Djordy Kroet. People that work their backsides off to help get the job done around here. These people are worth their weight in Gold. I cannot thank each of them enough and I’m so very blessed to have you, Agathe. 07.01.2022 Ode to Riverway Chalets Off Riverway Road there’s a Chalet you will find A great place to stay and unwind You will be greeted with smiles and friendship... From Leonie, her girls and all their kinship A farm full of happiness and love for animals Kangaroos, horses, sheep, ponies, emus but no camels Leonie is the screaming vegan, as known by some But just ask the animals, they see her as mum Riverway Chalets is a nice place to be Limited phone and internet coverage with no TV Peaceful and quiet you just got to love the total serenity Of the eco surroundings and its simplicity At the end of the day the kookaburras have the last call Singing songs of the bush just before nightfall The robins, wrens, finches, parrots, cockatoos and birdlife Is something I would like to experience with my wife On a cold rainy night with a cosy fire With all blokes around, there was no desire. Toss the coin for the double suite Only to find the stairs and mezzanine did squeak At the end of the night with nothing to do Sit back on the lounge with nothing to view Three men to use the toilet in the morning there’s a rush To see who can get there first to use the initial flush Chris is inside cooking up a feast in the kitchen While Col’s outside with the mozzies itchin With thanks from Wayne, Vinni, Nugget, Col and Chris For nice chalets and hosts we will miss Now that Bannister Downs construction has come to an end We will remember this place and always recommend THANKS FROM THE ROOFERS!
