"We met with several potential builders for our bespoke-designed holiday home before seeking formal quotations from three of them. We had been very impressed with Carls manner and approach at our initial discussion, and although Riviera Building Group was not the least expensive we decided to proceed with them for our project. At that very ...early stage Carl made several very useful suggestions on how we could reduce costs, given that the quotations from all builders were substantially over our original budget. During the building process itself we could not fault Carl or his very able team. We met with him on site, initially approximately fortnightly and then weekly in the last few months. On every occasion he talked us through what had been happening, and whenever issues arose that needed clarification he always had very sound suggestions on the most appropriate way forward. He is a true craftsman, and his personal touch in making a very solid, spotted gum front door and complementary storage cupboard doors in the carport was most admirable. He also volunteered some refinements that we never would have thought of, including building a very innovative under-house storage system for a kayak! At the handover stage when we got our Occupancy Permit, Carl met with us to talk through a number of minor issues which needed attention. His commitment to ensuring that we were fully satisfied was clearly evident. We are absolutely delighted with the end product. It is a beautiful home, the quality of the workmanship is first class, and the attention to detail is outstanding.
