Normally we would revert to just one AM service at this time, but due to Covid restrictions it is necessary for us to continue with two. We would love to see you all on Sundays at either 8:50am or 10:30am throughout the Summer. All are welcome!... For parents, Kids Blue and Orange zones will only be available during the first service in January.

At "RivoCraft" we provide an opportunity for people to share, explore and develop their creativity and make lasting friendships. Classes include oil painting, patchwork for beginners, learning to knit, photo scrapbooking, decorative cards, crochet, jointed teddy bears, door stoppers, beading, embr...oidery, candle wicking, smocking, hardanger, and your own work, which you are welcome to bring along and finish off in the company of friends. "Seven Stanzas at Easter," by John Updike Make no mistake: if He rose at all... it was as His body; if the cells' dissolution did not reverse, the molecules reknit, the amino acids rekindle, the Church will fall. It was not as the flowers, each soft Spring recurrent; it was not as His Spirit in the mouths and fuddled eyes of the eleven apostles; it was as His flesh: ours. The same hinged thumbs and toes, the same valved heart that pierced, died, withered, paused, and then regathered, out of enduring Might, new strength to enclose. Let us not mock God with metaphor, analogy, sidestepping, transcendence; making of the event a parable, a sign painted in the faded credulity of earlier ages: let us walk through the door.

Ideally you will be confident with technology, you'll have an eye (and ear) for detail, are steady under pressure, love being part... of a team, don't mind being behind the scenes and you are passionate about enabling as many people as possible to hear the Good News about Jesus. When a guest shows up at church for the very first time it’s because someone has invested their life, their prayer, their resources and their whole heart into sharing their faith and inviting this family member or friend to church. There’s a lot riding on that first visit. The job of our Hospitality Team is to ensure we don’t blow it! We need welcomers at the door, connect desk hosts, ushers and food and beverage volunteers to demonstrate to our guests that everyone who comes to Rivo is priceless and VERY welcome in the Lord's house! 04.01.2022 Girl's and Boy's Brigade is a uniformed, out of school based program run throughout Western Australia. Our Company at Rivo, have opportunities for Christian men and women to serve in key leadership positions. Brigade leaders mobilise and organise teams to present an exciting program aimed at empowering girls and boys, and young men and women to develop their gifts and skills across a range of interests. Training is provided. Brigade leaders bring an unparalleled passion to th...e program to ensure the young people in their care are challenged in a safe and fun way and shown the love of Jesus, through all areas of the program, so that their lives will be transformed and enriched. A working with children card and national police clearance are essential. Also, we are a church of many cultures, so an ability in a second language, while not essential, would be an advantage.
