25.01.2022 It’s been a very busy first half of the year and we thought we might update the page with a few snaps from a couple of jobs we’ve had the pleasure of completing!

23.01.2022 A job we completed in Lucas, which required 40m3 of clay and rock to be removed to provide a flatter backyard for the owners. Then we retained the backyard with a treated pine sleeper wall and also put some concrete paving around the house matching into the existing concrete

22.01.2022 Hello to all of our followers, we have had a busy few months working for some wonderful clients and thought we'd better give you an update on what we have been up to. Here's just a few recent jobs we have completed

19.01.2022 Here’s a simple and small budget landscape we did. The clients wanted to to tidy up there back yard so we started by repairing the existing retainer wall, removed all weeds, placed weed matting down, we then brought in 20m3 clean fill, 18m3 of top soil and 8m3 mulch all by wheelbarrow as there was no access for a machine on this job. This was a very rewarding job for us as it shows how much can be done to transform a property within a small budget and exceed the customers expectations

12.01.2022 Here's a recent job we have completed at the Menzies Quality Inn Ballarat. We got given the opportunity to come up with a way to provide more parking for guest and update the garden areas with a lower maintenance classy look. This was a challenging job as we had to contend with many services under the ground level and make sure we didn't interfere with the running of the hotel. We started by removing the existing retaining wall. We then had to remove 300m3 of fill whilst havi...ng to contend with the underground services and removal of footings from an old building. After this we began installing the new 70 Metres worth of charcoal smooth faced concrete retaining walls. Once this was completed we provided new drainage for both car parks and placed 170m2 of charcoal concrete pavement down to allow a longer life then the existing asphalt parking around the motel. We then gave the job its finishing touches by planting out the garden beds in beautiful low maintenance plant varieties and some black mulch. What a lovely job this was to complete for a great group of people and an honour to get to showcase some of our work to the public and guest of the motel!

The candidates work load would primarily consist of running and being hands on with our concreting jobs (concrete paving & shed slabs) and being flexible to help out in some o...f the other services we offer. Here is a recent job we completed at Chris & Elisa's so they can enjoy every minute of those nice days in the comfort of there own yard. All work was carried out by the R & J Davey team and it was an absolute privilege to give this beautiful house's exterior a well deserved makeover.
