16.01.2022 CHANGE TO RATES TO COPPER COAST AREA. Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID 19 we have had no choice but to re-evaluate our business structure to ensure the longevity of our company and its ability to continue to employ its existing staff. As a result as of Tuesday 13th of April we will no longer be offering an R&J Freight overnight service between the Copper Coast and Port Pirie regions, with our own rates. This service will still be able to be provided via Adelaide through Toll Priority either overnight or off peak, this will unfortunately be charged at higher rates, and vary depending on weight and cubic size. To discuss your options or for a quote please contact us directly on 08 8632 6886. We apologise for any inconvenience, and hope to reintroduce this service in the near future.

02.01.2022 Position Vacancy: Warehouse Assistant / Courier Driver We are looking for a highly motivated and well-presented candidate to join our team as a Courier Driver. Our Company, R&J Freight Services PTY LTD, is a family owned business with two locations within the Mid North & Copper Coast regions. The position offers Road Transport and Distribution award rates and will be based at our Kadina Depot. The successful applicant will assist our team in the processing and distribution of... freight throughout the copper coast region. The successful applicant will be required for 20 38hrs per week and need to be available Monday Friday between the hours of 5:30am & 5:30pm, and Saturdays between 6am & 12pm. All employees are subject to regular and random drug and alcohol testing in line with our companies zero drug and alcohol tolerance policy. The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Be well presented and punctual. Be highly motivated, proactive, and able to work efficiently both with and without supervision. Be physically fit and able to carry out all aspects of the job role including lifting, carrying, and manoeuvring freight in a safe and timely manner. Have the ability to pass a medical assessment. Have a C Class drivers licence & High-risk forklift LF licence. Have excellent communication and customer service skills. Have a current, or the ability to acquire a National Police Check. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Whilst not required the following attributes are desired in candidates. MR or HR licence. Previous courier driver experience.
