20.01.2022 LH LX UC SEDAN LOWER B PILLAR SECTIONS AND SILL REPAIR SECTIONS I have finally completed development work on the B pillar and sill section directly under the pillar. This is a common problem for the LH LX model as it rusts from the inside out, so if you have little bubbles or holes showing around the base of the pillar there's a good chance that you will need to cut out more than what you can see on top.... These parts will save you quite a lot of time and effort with most of the hard work done for you. You can order single pieces or the whole set. As usual, all made from 1mm cold rolled steel sheet, tig welded where necessary and etch primed for transport. All prices include regular postage with signature and tracking. 08.01.2022 This van looked like a simple job at the start, but as is more often the case, it turned out to be quite rusty under the surface. It involved removing the whole roof and rebuilding most of upper structures. If you are restoring a van like this be aware that they often develop rust from the inside out. These were very basic vehicles and much of the inner sections were never painted or even primed when originally constructed.

07.01.2022 LH LX UC sedan and hatch chassis extensions kit. 2mm steel creates a fully boxed rail that ties the original front half chassis with the lower rear suspension mounts. Kits comprise of left/right baseplate and capping plates as shown in the first few photos. Caps are welded on after the base has been installed. Kit price is $550 +postage Made to order only, lead time of 1-2 weeks... Photos show step by step installation up to the point of welding the top cap on.

03.01.2022 So your back end is a bit rusty? Maybe I can help with that. New rear chassis ends to fix those trouble spots. Just transfer your crush tubes to the new part so it matches your bumper position and drill holes. I recommend tig welding the joint in a dovetail or staggered zed cut for strength so it's not a single straight line cut. Examples in the photos. Parts are made from 2mm steel and fully tig welded construction. They are available as singles because it's often only one b...ad one, or in pairs if needed and can save you around 10 - 12hours each in fabrication time that you can put to better use elsewhere. $430 including post for singles $850 including post for pairs
