17.03.2022 Some workshop photos of a pair of doors that I finished last weekend! Stunning reclaimed Blackbutt, over 100yo and hard as nails.. These doors are close to 100kg each, and it was a very challenging job in my small space. Very happy with the outcome, and I think they’ll look awesome in their new home.... 06.03.2022 Finally got a moment to share this plant stand I finished on Christmas Eve.. I spend a lot of time looking at photos and videos of other woodworkers and furniture makers, and this piece was inspired by one of my favorite makers, who also produces great videos almost daily.. My own design, but had the chance to make this for a lovely couple who live in our street and often stop to chat about my work.... Crafted from 100yo vic ash and Blackbutt, reclaimed from a school hall, while it has its imperfections, it’s one of the pieces I’m most proud of making..
