22.01.2022 It's never a good idea to write out your own tags. You may think your saving a few $$$$ but in reality this could cost someone their life or serious injury. Note there is no EARTH PIN on the plug. It's there as your protection from electrocution.

18.01.2022 For those who haven't understood yet... Victoria's Secret has declared bankruptcy. Zara has closed 1,200 stores. Chanel, Hermes and Rolex have stopped production. Nike is getting ready for stage two of redundancies. AirBnb founder says that due to the pandemic, 12 years of effort have been destroyed in 6 weeks.... Starbucks has announced the permanent closure of 400 stores. And the list goes on... Five months of the pandemic have created many debts, many friends and family are out of work, jobless and tens of thousands of businesses are out of business. If the company you work in continues, without pay reduction or dismissal, treat it well. We face a pandemic that cannot be controlled. 2020 is survival, leave aside daily complaints and anything, stop moaning and be grateful and responsible for what you have. - I copied this from a friend on Facebook as it’s an interesting post. We face uncertain times it’s not easy so let’s all support each other, spend Local/help your friends’ businesses/ help keep small businesses in your community going .

09.01.2022 THIS BASICALLY SUMS IT UP FOR ALL THE TRADIES OUT THERE ! Whether you’re running a company, or you’re a labourer etc. There are always posts looking for 'cheap' work or people asking Why do tradies charge an arm and a leg?... This is why. They don't get paid sick leave, annual leave, carers leave, paternity or maternity leave, no pay on rainy days, no overtime or bonuses at the end of the year. The skills they have are expensive to attain along with the tools/vehicles. The FREE quotes, the ordering, picking up materials, time spent at each job including traveling either way. It all adds up. That's not even looking at business finances like public liability, insurances, regos etc. So don't ask for cash discounts! Or cheap work. GST is paid on everything they buy. The only discount that can be given is on labour and who would want to be doing that?! Now they all get to enjoy two weeks of unpaid holidays while everything is shut down over the Christmas break! So with that being said thank a tradie this Christmas. If they run their own show, thank them twice! Copied off another page.
