22.01.2022 Another perfect day for athletics today. There were many happy faces and lots of come and try athletes. A couple of reminders: 1. Sunday is relay training- at the track 10-11 (U8 to U16 athletes) 2. Next week is Bring-a-Friend day- invite a friend to come and join in the fun. 3. Saturday 26th October- 50th Anniversary family day- day finishes at 2pm.

20.01.2022 Well after 11 weeks of competition the Eastern 7s Cross Country season has come to an end. And what a way to finish!! Im so proud of Team Ringwood today. We had 3 individual medal winners and four of our teams winning medals.
19.01.2022 It was raining centre records today 5 athletes broke 6 centre records. - Dahami from U16 broke LJ record with a jump of 4.96 -Jacob from U9 broke HJ record with a jump of 1.13 -Patrick from U14 broke hurdles record with a time of 29.32 -Bridie from U13 broke hurdles record with a time of 32.30... - and for the 4th week in a row Abbey from U16 broke the discus record with a throw of 35.26m and also the hurdles record with a time of 52.26 Congratulations to everyone and have a safe and merry Christmas. 18.01.2022 The second record for today was Chloe from the under 10s who beat here own record in the high jump by 1cm with a massive jump of 1.18. Great work Chloe.

17.01.2022 Well what a way to end the Cross Country season. Team Ringwood preformed so well yesterday at the State Cross Country Carnival. Thank you everyone who competed throughout the season and we hope to see you all next season.

14.01.2022 With the high chance of thunderstorms and heavy falls we are making an early call to cancel tonights competition. This call also comes off the back of LAVic cancelling this weekends state track and field championships due to the rapidly changing situation with the coroanvirus. Centre competitions for the remainder of the season: a further announcement will be made by Lvic no later than 1pm this afternoon about the immediate future of Centre competitions across the state.

06.01.2022 We had 2 center records broken today in the 80m hurdles. Bridie broke the record with a run of 13.65, however this was beaten by Emily in the same race with a run of 13.59. Congratulations girls
06.01.2022 Don’t forget to register for Region Cross Country. Entries close on the 7th June. This event will be held at Jells Park South on the 19th June with both individual and team medal awarded. Entry $25 per athlete. ... It would be great to see plenty of Ringwood athletes hitting the trail.

We still have a few duties to fill prior to Saturday and the more we can fill makes it easier in the morning. 02.01.2022 The committee have been closely watching the weather forecast and in the interest of safety we have decided to yet again postpone our 50 years family day. We will still run regular program if weather permits. The call will be made at 7.30 if we decide to cancel.
01.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION Region Cross-Country Carnivals all 7 Regions Due to restrictions LAVic have advised that our Region Cross-Country Carnivals cannot proceed once Metro Melbourne is released from lockdown, with any degree of confidence or certainty. The Region Cross-Country Carnivals have been cancelled. The State Cross-Country Championships, on Saturday 31st July at Lake Dewar, will now be direct entry. All the current registrations will be moved across into the State ...Championships, and the portal will remain open until Monday 5th July. To recognise the performances that would have been achieved at the Region Carnivals, Region medals will be presented in addition to the State medals, based on placings. A portal for athletes to withdraw from State will also be set up, refunds will be provided. This information will be provided in the coming week.
