13.01.2022 Job opportunity at TIC Group: Despatch Coordinator Operational: Plan loading of carriers to ensure accurate, cost effective and efficient delivery of orders to meet delivery requirements of customers so that the reputation of Dindas is enhanced with each supply. Oversee the efficient and profitable performance of the transport operation.... Maintain a focus on Continuous Improvement in all areas of operations within transport management. Develop the ability to ensure the timely delivery of regular reports. Ensuring all stock despatched is done so correctly with the appropriate paperwork. Maintain documentation on key operating tasks performed in the role to enable other people to perform these tasks in periods of absence. Maintain the transport spreadsheet, update and despatch allocations and maintain GPS software. Quality control all outgoing orders ensuring DIFOT. Maintain schedules of rates for all carriers to enable review and approval of carrier invoices. Work effectively with other teams to ensure orders are loaded/prepared when required for delivery/pickup, advise the yard team of the timing of incoming shipments to allow forward planning. Control all documentation associated with stock receipts and despatches. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the Despatch yard and the office. Customer: Ensure effective utilisation of distribution resources to deliver the most productive outcomes for Dindas while meeting or exceeding the customer service requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with Transport providers to enable objectives to be met. Ensure agreed customer objectives and measurements are met. Financial: Develop KPI measures and reporting to cover key aspects of the dispatch function including cost, DIFOT, and improvement metrics to ensure an efficient and cost effective transport operation. Implement initiatives for cost containment, maximise profit and meet budget and customer objectives. Check and approve carrier invoices and make claims when required. Minimise delivery costs by ensuring full utilisation of carrier vehicles, most cost effective delivery sequence and carriers that offer best value to the business. Safety: Work within the OHS Management system to ensure activities comply with all relevant legislation. Understand and comply with Chain of Responsibility requirements for Dindas.
