13.01.2022 Soon after the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, RMIT staff and students rallied behind Red Cross efforts to care for the wounded. Using materials donated by local ironmongers, they made and donated bedpans, hot water bottles and beds to the Red Cross. In 1918, 400 returned soldiers also took classes at the Working Men’s College as part of the repatriation effort.... This Remembrance Day we take time to reflect and to acknowledge those who gave their service and their lives. Lest we forget. #RemembranceDay
