24.04.2022 SCAM ALERT !!! This mob advertise a lot on TV & pay Google a lot of money to be on top of their search listings. Don't get sucked in - use local tradies. WA: Plumbers fined for 'scam' electrical work... Two licenced plumbers have been fined thousands after they provided unqualified electrical advice, including assessing customers' switchboards. The 34-year-old and the 26-year-old were employed by a large Perth plumbing, gas, and electrical company. The court was told the 34-year-old attended four properties to work on taps and hot water systems. The clients included a 91-year-old man, a pregnant woman, and the full-time carer of a disabled person. He told customers he needed to check the electrical switchboards then claimed to have identified electrical safety issues at each property that required urgent attention. He told one customer her toddler could be electrocuted unless the switchboard was upgraded. The court was told the 26-year-old was called out to homes in 2019 to repair hot water systems. He asked to see the electrical switchboards at both properties, claimed they were unsafe, non-compliant, and needed replacement. He provided written quotes for the electrical work. The magistrate said what they did was "offensive" and "sounds like a scam". Their defence lawyer told the court his clients were following instructions from the business, which was sending out all their plumbing workforce and getting electrical work. ________________________________________

17.04.2022 Had a wonderful night tonight with the Peel Chamber Of Commerce night at The Cut, as a guest of my daughter Michelle Wong. Lucky enough to win the business card door prize of 2 bottles of Vasse Felix wines. Yum.

26.03.2022 One of the joys of working around Mandurah. The locals came out for a feed. Had a busy Sunday restoring people's power after heavy overnight rains.

17.03.2022 Just heard from my wife that a local lady she was talking too just paid $3,500 to have her switchboard updated after storm damage - more than double what it should be. She Googled electricians & went to one of the big companies from Perth that pay for top rankings. This company also advertise a lot on TV, no call out fees etc, but they get you by what they charge. Crazy stuff - please try & use local.

06.03.2022 We had problems trying to get a new ute in these strange Covid times, but we're now really happy with the Hilux.

25.02.2022 With winter upon us there's always a windy problem. This is a job we did last year where the customer lost his overhead mains from the Western Power pole. Make sure you keep those trees trimmed away from power lines!

07.02.2022 Finally got our new work vehicle after Covid delay. Matthew has done a great job in setting it up while I've been away. Roof rack on the weekend & then just the towbar later. Very pleased with the result.

04.02.2022 Received a lovely unsolicited email today - " Hello Robert, Thank you to your great son Mat and yourself for renewing my switch board.... I have transferred your money to your nominated bank. Thanks again for the fast help on short notice mate. Kind regards, Michael " Pics show the old switchboard & the new. Much neater & safer.

27.01.2022 It's nice to get a job like this on a beautiful sunny day
