16.01.2022 MEET THE FDC Meet Andrew R J Sinnamon, Regional Manager for AgForce South East Queensland and Co Owner of Riverina Santa Gertrudis stud. From Birth Andrew has only missed 2 Ekka's in his 30 years, where his family has exhibited Stud and commercial cattle from Robenlea Santa Gertrudis, Yulgilbar Pastoral Company and Riverina Santa Gertrudis. Over the past 9 years Andrew has also volunteered time to the RNA by stewarding in the Beef section across all the day of the "Bee...f week". This is the first year Andrew has sat on the FDC and is excited to contribute further to the great work, the committee and the RNA do to make Ekka the premier showcase of Australian and Queensland Agriculture. During Ekka, you will catch Andrew during the Beef week either in the main arena Stewarding, up at the Cattle sheds, or enjoying the entertainment and networking functions held during Ekka. #RNAFDC #Ekka #Beef

Applications are NOW OPEN for the RNA Foundation's Education Bursary, which has been created to award up to two bursaries for recipients to attend the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program in 2021. 09.01.2022 MEET THE FDC Next up is Stef Russo. Stef is our very own city slicker, she was born and raised in Brisbane and moved to Sydney over 6 years ago to pursue her legal career as a technology lawyer. Stef moved backed to Brisbane last year and is now loving being in the River City. Stef cannot wait to spend even more time at #Ekka in 2021. She has been on the FDC for the past 4 years and gets a lot of enjoyment out of organising the social events, where the country meets the city. During the show, you'll find Stef sampling the award winning cheeses, wines and indulging in the strawberry sundaes. #RNAFDC @theekka
