The opening event will still be held on the weekend of Saturday... 10th and Sunday 11th October however this year for the first time, the exhibition is being extended for the following two weeks. The event will now officially close on the 25th October to ensure the number of visitors on site at any one time meets public health requirements. Starting with a twisted steel peg originally used by the troops on the beaches to fix the barbwire to. Barb was also used in the trench warfare. The horse shoes represent the Light-horse brigade.
