09.01.2022 2 Days to go! Please bear in mind that the show closes earlier on Sunday afternoon to allow exhibitors to travel home. Free parking is available on the grounds and information sessions will be running across the weekend.

If you are mailing your entries the please ensure you post them very soon. Entries close May 11th. 02.01.2022 Majura Valley Free Range Eggs, is a traditional mixed grazing and hay making property which has expanded to include a free range egg enterprise. Portable electric fences and mobile chook sheds support 2000 chooks, split into four hectare-sized units, which are rotated across different paddocks. Run on biodynamic principles, the chooks fertilise the paddocks which are then grazed by ewes and lambs. The animal production from the chook-fertilised paddocks has increased tenfold since the egg enterprise started. Ann and Nick have also worked with Greening Australia to return ten percent of the property to native vegetation with 49 native bird species identified in revegetated areas of the property.#chooks #farm #freerangeeggs
