Our staff raised a whopping $286.00 on the day. 19.01.2022 Today, RNM & The Will Centre Staff wore their favourite team jerseys in support of Jersey Day. What is Jersey Day? Jersey Day is a campaign designed to raise awareness and inspire a conversation between family and friends about the importance of organ donation. The concept of Jersey Day was inspired by the story of a young man, Nathan Gremmo, whose life was tragically lost in an accident in 2015 and his family chose to donate his organs to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality. 18.01.2022 On 30 November 2020, important changes were made to Queensland’s Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA) and Advance Health Directives (AHD). These changes will enable you to provide more detailed instructions on how you wish your attorneys to perform their duties, who you want kept informed of your attorneys’ decisions, and which health and medical treatments are acceptable to you. More detailed information can now be provided to your attorneys to ensure they properly understand their obligations and responsibilities to you. From 30 November 2020, any EPA or AHD you sign must be in the new format. It is important you seek legal advice to ensure these documents properly reflect your wishes and preferences for your future care.
