17.01.2022 This 80 is to good not to share! The perfect example of an original 80 series is a 96 model GXL with a whopping 134,000kms on its 1HZ. It come alive after fitting a Safari Snorkel, Monroe Racing CT26 turbo with billet upgraded compressor wheel, HPD Boost Controller, 3" Turbo back beaudesert exhaust system and a red arc G52-BET boost, pyro and water temp gauge. Under the bonnet the only way most would be able to tell its not a 1hdt is from the water line on drivers side of the... turbo, nice and neat! She was tuned on standard pump in the hills around the Atherton tablelands and in particular the east Evelyn rd (AKA Jantelany) between Millaa Millaa and Ravenshoe with a long pull at 8-10% (No dyno could ever emulate those conditions) Before when stock she would blow coal due to someone winding the screw in and go up around the 60km/h in 3rd! Now she easily maintains her 100km/h (could do more) in 4th and even goes over in 5th at 85km/h at the top In 5th pushing all 4 wheels in AWD, EGT's don't quite get to 450 deg as it in its prime afr/rev range most of the hill, in 4th she is raving a little high where the stock uncompensated pump is a little richer so she doesn't quite touch 500 deg over the top! (foot flat to the boards all the way) AFR's 21-21.5:1 at 14-15 psi. Absolute transformation and safe! The turbo set up is awesome and very well suited to the hz with max boost easily achieved by 2000. See more

17.01.2022 Had this mint new 2017 dual cab in for a remap and exhaust. With the different gear ratio's of the new cruisers they really are sad and somewhat underwhelming to drive in 5th, sometimes even dangerous if you want to over take quickly! As I only dyno if requested and tune on road to AFR's etc I thought I would do some before and afters on this one. Stock with 3" Dpf Back System 60-100km/h 4th. 14.34 seconds 80-100km/h 5th. 17.29 seconds (I know horrible!)... 90-110km/h 5t. 11.92 seconds This shows the lack of torque/power at low revs! Opposite to how a diesel should be and how most people want them. After full Remap 60-100km/h 4th. 7.31 seconds 80-100km/h 5th. 5.8 seconds (Not a typo! From 17.29) 90-110km/h 5th. 6.0 seconds Obviously can give or take up to half a second for foot position to button pressing time but you get the gist! Absolutely awesome to drive after! You would not think its the same car! See comments for exhaust sound.

06.01.2022 Had this weapon from Norweld in for a full remap! LOVE the Safari armax snorkels! Norweld gear is truly impressive, well thought out and neat! Also check out the sun visor, with LEDs it very unique and simply awesome! This rig went from doing 80-100km/h in 5th at 10.4 seconds to Just 5.03! So much more drivable with so much more torque at the bottom of the gears!
