25.01.2022 Last one for the day. The classic problem of the older Rock Shox Carbon CSU leaking air. Not anymore, rebuilt the forks into a new alloy XX CSU. We can replace damaged and marked stantion legs. Swap steerer tubes to either straight or tapered and fit new ones to make them longer. Remove that annoying creak from CSU that are outside warranty.

24.01.2022 Damper body had unwound from the Trunnion head, not only letting oil out but dirty oil back in! Full strip and rebuild, as you can see spotless before reassembly.

23.01.2022 One competitors race saved. This customer dropped his blown shock off yesterday and all done in less than 24hours. Just in time for him to race WAGE GE Round 4 at the Goat Farm this weekend. Hit us up for the fastest turn around times in WA.

22.01.2022 First one off the bench for the day. A steerer tube replacement to a fork that had a steerer too short for the customers new bike. We took the opportunity to upgrade to fork to the new C1 air piston as well.

19.01.2022 Another big order of #rockshox forks arrived today. Lots of Yaris Sektors Pikes Lyriks and the all new ZEB forks back in stock.

19.01.2022 First one of the bench this morning a full service and Talas to Air conversion on these old 26 Open Bath forks. Will be good for a few more years now. Bike was a classic too, GT I Drive 5 in mint condition for its age.

18.01.2022 Precision drilling. Always get nervous drilling these grub screws out, but as you can see by the stainless ball it needed to be done. The dial didnt turn and would have just became even harder to remove in the future. No short cuts, job fine right every time @rnr_suspension_specialists

17.01.2022 Something I have wanted to do for a while now. Finally found some time today. Eco refill station for @ridemechanic products. Always thinking about reducing our plastic footprint and now you can not only save your environment but save money at the same time! When you bring your empty bottle in for a refill you will be charged much less than buying a new bottle. We will have these Eco Refill Stations at both @rocknrollmtb and @rnr_suspension_specialists locations.

16.01.2022 We are still available for suspension servicing, crazy last two weeks, with so much getting done for everyone to enjoy their riding during the holidays. We also have made some extra time free in the workshop so if you need anything adjusted or replaced email or message us, good luck getting hold of me on the phone at the moment! But try Jen she is much more friendly and more reliable then me. A small selection from yesterday’s work load.

14.01.2022 ZEB’s in stock. We just got another batch of the new Rock Shox 38mm ZEB forks. Including the new E-Bike model, which will make a great upgrade seeing some of the cheap forks being supplied on entry level E Bikes.

12.01.2022 Not much gets pasts our experienced and skilled technicians. Yes that is a crack in the CSU, I wouldnt want to be riding these forks when they go! New set of CSU and full service, customer will be enjoying the trails again and most importantly will be safe.

11.01.2022 Who says old is out of date? The customer brought us his 2015 Giant Reign for the full update. The forks have had a full service, charger rebuild with Plush fluid, updated SKF sealhead, new SKF dust wipers and the new C1 air piston. Words can’t really explain the difference and how plush these old Pikes feel now!

08.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for 2020, last 6 items all done now. All of us here at @rnr_suspension_specialists we would like to wish you, your family’s and staff a safe and happy Xmas and New Year. We would also like to thank everyone that as trusted us with their beloved ride, both new and old, clean and dirty, loved and abused over the year. It’s not been without its challenges, and I will not go into this as everyone has had their own experiences. But I can honestly say I will be happy to see the end of 2020 and hoping for a more normal 2021. All your support and understanding has been greatly appreciated throughout the year. Bring on 2021!

07.01.2022 Who dreamed of having a set of these back in the day? For the newbies and young ones, that was 1997! Done a few sets of Rock Shox from this era but these Manitous are a first. All set for someones retro project, and best of all fully functional not just a show piece.

06.01.2022 I would like to say I have seen everything and nothing surprises me anymore, but the suspension game just keeps giving! Somebody super glued the dials and head to stop it leaking rather than get it serviced.

06.01.2022 A small selection of the stock we have had arrive yesterday, more arriving daily. Yes they are 29 Pike and Lyriks!! We can still source Rock Shox 29 Gravity Forks and also have a couple of Fox forks arriving this week.

06.01.2022 Full strip and rebuild for this Float DPS rear shock. All done to the manufacturers specifications, with no down time for the rider, bike will be back on the trails this week.

06.01.2022 We are super happy to announce that we are the official #ndtuned workshop for Australia. Tools and parts arrived today and we have already replaced 3 damaged or creaking CSU today. This fork has a large crack running around the crown which we found last week.

04.01.2022 One from last week, I have heard about these eyelets developing cracks but first one we have seen. New eyelet assembly and full service, back ready to shred the trails again.

04.01.2022 From short travel to long travel, another Specialized Stumpjumper convertion done today. Fitted the awesome trail shredding @ridefoxaustralia Fox DPX2.

04.01.2022 There is a reason we use and recommend @maximaoilsau suspension fluids in our workshop. They have a history of supplying oils for many different types of high performance requirements, including mountain biking.

02.01.2022 One of the oldest we have done since we opened. 2005-2008 first generation Fit RC2 damper with old Talas system. Talas have been upgraded to the newer Talas 5 platform and damper cartridge fully rebuilt. Needed some help with this one, as parts are no longer available.
