Some of the upgrades: battery relocation to front, bigger tow hooks, air deflector plates beside the radiator , FIA kill switch system (along with some major wiring changes). 24.01.2022 Toyota MR2 front badge. Only Japanese spec black ones in stock at present, but happy to get red or blue ones as required. These are genuine Toyota ones with quality foil badge that wont quickly fade like the cheap copies, and a proper adhesive pad on the back. $48 plus post. Happy for people to share this post around

Im not really interested in sending 1-offs interstate as the freight is just silly because its based on box size/volume. Like last time we did this, if we get few orders from 1 major place like sydney, canberra or Melbourne, i can send several to 1 address, and the per bar packing and freight price will then be sensible.

22.01.2022 Another Toyota 2ZZ engine bites the dust. This one ingested some water, bent 1 conrod and another one broke, probably after bending then hitting the side of the block. #2ZZ

17.01.2022 Toyota Caldina owners, finally, back into stock, genuine and non genuine engine and transmission mounts for most models. Owners of most of these cars will now be experiencing unexpected noises and vibrations, and sometimes violent "clonks" when accelerating or decelerating. Often these are due to broken and/or sagged mounts like shown in the picture (gearbox top mount). . Experience suggests the life of a genuine mount is somewhere between 100,000 and 150,000km, New mounts are between and $100 and $120 ea + freight. 16.01.2022 Just some of our latest shipment of 1-piece over-sized race valves for the Toyota 4AG 20V engine about to get sent out to a single customer. These are beautifully finished with nice swirl polish on underside. Both inlet & exhaust are 0.5mm oversized for optimum blend of increased flow and maximum heat transfer around the seat. Experience with these engines suggests the more commonly seen +1mm ones flow no more, yet greatly reduce heat transference around the valve seat, leading to very short life of the exhaust valve . $520/set of 20 valves.

These are now failing routinely as the micro-switch you push on under the rubber, breaks away from the circuit board inside and is all-but impossible to repair. single unit $50 incl post to anywhere in oz or 2 units for $90 incl post. Comes with simple instructions on how to program it to your car.

14.01.2022 New 1-piece race spec engine valves. 3SG 3SGTE 2JZ 2JZ GTE 4AG 4AGZE All same price $25 ea if bought in engine sets plus $25 post/freight to anywhere in Australia if you cant collect from our store These valves are specially made, 1 piece. they are all 0.5mm oversized head. That allows you to machine the inserts in the head to get perfect fit and flow. We have fitted hundreds of these.... other vendors sell larger ones, but these require all the inserts in the head to be changed, costs up to $1000 extra in head work Very few heads will now accept standard valves, but we can supply quality standard ones should you want them Once the current stock sells out, there will be no more as the factory does not want to make any more due to limited numbers See more

14.01.2022 this race Toyota 4AG is now much worse for wear. we are chasing 1 or more TRD/Cosworth Atlantic pistons. thankfully the special crank is still OK and all the rest is relatively easily rebuilt or replaced. #4AG #AE86

RB30, RB25, RB26 These are mostly 0.5mm oversized head so your chosen machinist can fit them into stock inserts. All $25/valve with discounts available for bona-fide trade re-sellers, or if you purchase more than 1 engine set at a time.

05.01.2022 These are the special front brake backing plates for the 93 onwards MR2 SW20. Many "big brake" conversions are missing these (or they are butchered) and as a result the front brakes can rapidly overheat. The idea is cold air enters thru the duct and goes to the inside of the rotor. it then spreads out thru the internal rotor vents and out to the edge. $120 pair.

04.01.2022 First stage of brake upgrade for the race MR2 Spyder. Fitting duct work to the front as the Spyder brakes are very enclosed. We got the calipers new in US quit...e cheaply (by local standards) .The current adaptor bracket is made to suit standard sized discs & wheels, but with changes to the adaptor, we can run slightly larger VW or Lotus ones if that proves necessary. 01.01.2022 This NPC made custom 4 puck clutch is going into our race Toyota MR2 Spyder #MRS. This started life as a relatively standard US made ACT clutch. The pressure plate has been modified and the drive plate converted from organic to pucks, with the ACT spring centre retained to make it drivable. Such light cars dont need super-duty clutches but the pucks will make the change quicker. Custom and uprated clutches available from us for most makes & models.
