25.01.2022 Trent Laves and Dylan Cothill from Skid Control gave the tyres on the Holden Special a real workout at Morgan Park last weekend. Nothing like driving on canvas......on the sidewalls. A trip to Keith 4 wheels soon i think for some new boots.

23.01.2022 Fitted up the XJ6 Jaguar fuel caps. So glad i did this. I think they look pretty cool.

21.01.2022 Rear window and boot surround rust repairs.

21.01.2022 Plating up the chassis rail joins for strength.

19.01.2022 Amazing day at Lakeside raceway for the 2nd and final round of the QLD endurance championship. Victory for team Skid Control 1st outright and winners overall in the championship. Congratulations to the boys...Dylan Cothill, Trent Laves and Callum whatmore on their amazing effort. They drove faultlessly in both rounds. I am proud to be a sponsor of such a dedicated and professional bunch of lads in a field of well experienced and very quick drivers. Well done again fellas.

19.01.2022 Replacing the flared rear guard section and lower rear passenger side quarter panel

16.01.2022 More work on the XY

15.01.2022 Inner guard outer sections fitted. Now to join the inner to the skin and complete.

13.01.2022 Found a pair of brand new never fitted Jaguar XJ6/12 fuel caps for the XY. And the bloke threw in the skins too. Thanks to feebay. Chrome is peeerrfect.

11.01.2022 Getting some work done on the inner rear guard outer sections. need lots of clearance for those big boots.

11.01.2022 Chassis complete.

08.01.2022 Rear guards completed. I welded 6mm mild steel rod in between the two skins to give the radius required for the lip as well as adding strength. So next job....dash needs to be welded back in.

04.01.2022 Picked up a windscreen to fit the dash frame back into the XY over the Christmas break. Essential to do this as the screen not only needs to fit properly but the stainless steel trim needs to fit up to the screen as well as the plenum cover and guards.
