25.01.2022 GRAN FONDO ROAD CLOSURES/DISRUPTIONS The 2020 Sunbuild Top End Gran Fondo will be held on 30 August. Motorists are advised to adhere to all traffic management in place for the course route between 5am and 12pm.... Road closures will occur for the Mini Fondo course, from Stokes Hill Road to Frances Bay Drive. Please refer to attached maps to view the course routes. 25.01.2022 LEE POINT ROAD AND VANDERLIN DRIVE ROUNDABOUT NIGHT WORKS Night works to re-asphalt the Lee Point Road and Vanderlin Drive Roundabout will take place from Saturday 3 to Monday 5 October 2020. To reduce disruptions for road users, work will occur at night on Saturday from 7pm to Sunday 6am, and on Sunday from 4pm to Monday 6am.... Traffic management will be in place to ensure a safe traffic environment for road users and motorists are asked to adhere to all signage in the area. The road will be partially closed to all traffic and detours will be in place. 24.01.2022 LANE CLOSURE - TROWER ROAD RAPID CREEK Due to a burst water main on Trower Rd at Rapid Creek, two lanes outbound are closed with a speed limit reduction to 40kmph. Authorities are onsite and traffic management is in place. Please proceed with caution or avoid the area where possible.

23.01.2022 TROWER ROAD NIGHTWORKS: Monday 6 July Nightworks to complete ground surveying and test holes will be carried out on Trower Road near the Dripstone Road intersection. Nightworks will start Monday 6 July from approximately 7:30pm and are expected to be completed by 6:00am Thursday 7 July.... All efforts will be made to minimise noise and disruption during this time. Traffic management including speed reductions and lane closures will be in place during works. Please drive with care.

18.01.2022 Preliminary survey works for the Channel Island Road - Elizabeth River Bridge Expansion Joints Replacement project will be carried out Thursday 27 August. Survey works will take place from 9am to 4pm, with speed restrictions and single lane closure on Channel Island Road. Traffic management will be in place to enable traffic flow and ensure road users and workers safety.

14.01.2022 TROWER ROAD PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE - REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE Maintenance and repair works will be carried out on the Rapid Creek Bridge on Trower Road to improve safety. Works will start Tuesday 1 December and are expected to be complete by Monday 14 December, weather permitting.... Works will occur between 9:30am to 3:30pm weekdays. Traffic management will be in place during the works including temporary lane closure, speed reductions and diverted footpath access. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works. 12.01.2022 DARWIN REGION - TROWER ROAD **UPDATE** Due to ongoing issues, the Trower Road outbound past Rapid Creek Road is now closed to one lane with a 40km/h speed limit. These closures and speed limit will be in place until at least Monday. 10.01.2022 TIGER BRENNAN DRIVE/BERRIMAH ROAD INTERSECTION NIGHT WORKS The Northern Territory Government is completing asphalting resurfacing and replacement works at the Tiger Brennan Drive/Berrimah Road intersection. To minimise impact, works will be completed at night between 8:00pm to 5:30am.... Works on the intersection will commence on 16 July 2020 and is expected to be completed by the end of July 2020. Traffic management will be in place during the night works including detours and speed reductions. Bitumen removed from the intersection will be recycled and placed on the Hidden Valley Motor complex to pave a parking lot. 08.01.2022 New Traffic Signals Tulagi Road and Stuart Highway Intersection The recently upgraded Tulagi Road and Stuart Highway intersection has different traffic signals, new to road users in the Territory. In future, similar traffic signals will be rolled out at selected sites on the road network. Therefore, all road users must understand this new traffic operation and comply. ... The signals have red and yellow lights in operation, but no green light on the left turn lane on Tulagi Road. This new signal controls the left turning traffic to provide safe pedestrian and cyclist crossings. This also allows for better traffic flow when pedestrians or cyclists are not crossing. Motorists must stop when the red arrow is displayed. The red arrow indicates pedestrians and cyclists are crossing. Unlike normal traffic signals in operation, there will be no green light displayed for motorists to proceed. When signals are not displayed, motorists must give way to oncoming traffic when turning onto the Stuart Highway. To help motorists and pedestrians comply with the changed road traffic operations a short video has been produced. Upgrades include:... Construction of a new 45 metre (3 x 15 metre spans) two-lane bridge over Saddle Rail Creek. Construction of 11.7 kilometres of two-lane sealed road including raised embankments, four flood ways, and five culvert crossings.
