23.01.2022 Eventful week at Roadside Relics.... this ones NFS.

23.01.2022 NOW SOLD... Caltex CMD. Original with correct Caltex stepped canopy. This great survivor arrived on Monday, original artwork, no touch ups or repaint. We have added pair of correct original Gilbarco nozzles, original dress fittings and new (aged) hoses. New glass in main windows. Other side also has original artwork but faded. Ready to display ‘as is’.... lovely piece of Caltex history. Better pics on Monday when I’ve got some help to get it outside. $4750 inclusive of GST. Early Highboy with cast lid and early type rotary pump, original red paint and professionally signwritten (not decals) on front and both sides, the artwork has been aged to suit. Cost of signwriting alone is close to the asking price of $950. This highboy look stunning. 19.01.2022 Huge 100% original Castrol highboy. Original paint, original artwork and original pump unit. Alloy lid has lost its paint but also original. This is a very unusual large highboy, I have sat it against the ‘usual’ sized Golden Fleece unit for comparison. The Castrol tank is 920 tall and 920 deep, 310 wide. This is a very unusual original unit and 100% original. $750. 11.01.2022 NOW SOLD..... One of our latest pick ups! Beautiful old Ajax safe, totally original down to original Ajax keys. Brass badges and handles, original aged paint that could be polished if desired. 700 tall x approx 570 deep x approx 560 wide. Super heavy with loads of character! 09.01.2022 Hammond/Emmco (?) and Hawke pump units, suit some other manuals as well.... really hard to find when you need them!! $450 each. 05.01.2022 NOW SOLD PENDING PAYMENT Early Australian ‘Ships wheel’ Dominion petrol pump. Nice old red paint, original Caltex artwork has been preserved and additional period artwork added and aged to suit the condition of the pump (no decals, professionally signwritten) Original badges including Texas Oil co. Australasia. Original glass cylinder, globe collar and stepped canopy. Aged cloth hose, fittings, nozzle and canteen have been added. This Dominion pre dates the model with conventional selection panel and fill serve mechanism. Circa 1930. This pump is ready to display ‘as is’ and has great ‘survivor’ appeal. $8450 inclusive of GST. 05.01.2022 NOW SOLD. Gilbarco CM. Good straight example with minimal rust. Internals complete, looks like it may have been Mobilgas, Shell and BP over its lifetime. Shell/Neptune globe mounting platform still attached. Really nice survivor pump supplied with new hose (can be aged), hose fittings and CM decal kit of your choice. $2950 inclusive of GST NOW SOLD.
