25.01.2022 With more than 20% of Roadside staff being female and many undertaking roles in traditionally male-dominated jobs, Roadside is proud of all our team and the contribution they are making to creating a safer environment on Australian roads. Roadside is also proud women are significantly represented in our management team delivering outstanding expertise and leadership, growing the Roadside company brand with knowledge and professional service. A very happy International Women's Day celebrated on March 8 to all women and appreciation extended to everyone who supports and grows opportunities for women.

17.01.2022 It’s blooming National Wattle Day and the Roadside installation team has spring in its step. With the warmer weather and promise of plenty of sunshine to come, you’ll see our Roadside team driving and operating our new fleet of trucks, excavators and other civil machinery on Australian roads and work sites helping create a safer environment for all Australians. Give us a wave as you drive by. #NationalWattleDay

16.01.2022 Roadside Services is Australian owned and operated, proudly manufacturing hostile vehicle mitigation #bollards certified by the Australian Made Campaign. We employ over 100 people in Victoria, South Australia, NSW and the Northern Territory. Now, more than ever, it's important for local, state and federal government to support Australian manufacturers.

16.01.2022 The Roadside team is proud to go over and beyond the task, installing, constructing and delivering jobs for our clients. In fact, here’s our South Australia Civil Works Supervisor Adam Guy showing us his acrobatic skills in the Roadside R U OK in ISO? Icey Challenge proving our commitment to deliver over and above the requirements of any challenge. A special shout out to our amazing staff who have donated to our R U OK Day fundraiser and especially this week to Dom Violi of DTV Excavations for your very generous contribution. 15.01.2022 It’s R U OK Day. At Roadside Services and Solutions our National Business Development Manager Daryl Evans recreates the iconic David Hasselhoff Baywatch promo in Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay. So on this R U OK Day and everyday, let’s model the Baywatch theme and keep a watch out for friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances and Protect when other people don’t want to protect and go above and beyond. Be the heart and soul of your community. Be the elite of the elite. If you wish to donate to the Roadside R U OK in ISO? 13.01.2022 WE DID IT! Team Roadside has reached its goal and raised $5000 for R U OK Day. A huge thank you to our staff who took the plunge and created an R U OK in ISO? Icey Challenge event video. To everyone who dipped into their pockets and donated to this worthy cause, and everyone who engaged with us on Facebook as we brought some laughter into your day. 12.01.2022 As we celebrate Australian Made Campaign Week, Roadside Services and Solutions is proud to be an Australian-owned company manufacturing in Australia, and employing Australians from all walks of life, who were born here and who have chosen Australia to be their home. Roadside opened its doors 12 years ago and through good Australian hard work and persistence it has grown into a company now employing more than 100 people across Australia. Our people will never know how many liv...es have been saved by their hard work and dedication. How many families will be reunited each day because of the hundreds of kilometres of guard rail we’ve installed or repaired, the thousands of kilometres of road pavement markings we’ve painted, the bollards we’ve designed and installed, the road safety signs we’ve manufactured, or the drainage works we’ve completed to create a safer environment. We are proud to be Aussie made and Aussie grown, looking after other Aussies. #australianmade #aussies #manufacturing See more

11.01.2022 Mirror on the wall who is the most beardful of them all? Thanks to the generous support of Roadside staff and clients, Victorian Civil Works graduate engineer and estimator Peter O’Brien raised $820 in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave fundraiser. Roadside and its staff are proud to support communities, charities and the great causes they support, to help create a better world.

11.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all you amazing dads. Roadside’s Civil Works Manager Glenn McAsey is taking a chilly break this Fathers Day with his beautiful daughters at his side. Instead of having his ice cubes served with his favourite tipple, he chose to have them dumped over him, all for a good cause. Roadside director South Australia and Northern Territory Craig Woods promised to donate extra to the R U OK Day event to see our Civil Works Manager take a chilly dip. True to his word, money came in and we’re getting closer to our $5000 fundraising goal for R U OK Day. If you wish to donate to the Roadside R U OK in ISO? 11.01.2022 Our South Australian division is moving! Roadside's existing sites at Stanbel Rd, Salisbury Plain and Krawarri St, Lonsdale will be relocated to 8 Sherriffs Road, Lonsdale. Continued strong growth left us no choice but to find a new home. We are hard at work bringing the new factory up to our requirements. First task was removal of all asbestos. We've teamed up with Total Asbestos Services which has done a cracking job of removing the asbestos from the roof and factory walls. It's being replaced with Colorbond from The Apex Group.

09.01.2022 Not only is Roadside National Manager for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Conor Healy taking the icey plunge to raise funds for R U OK Day, but with a performance like this you’d think he was auditioning for a starring role in a silent movie remake. So while Conor springs off the edge for your amusement, dive in with Conor and get motivated and invigorated to support R U OK Day. To donate to the Roadside R U OK in ISO? Icey Challenge follow this link: https://ruokworkplaceevents.everydayhero.com//the-roadside Together we can make a positive change to people’s lives it starts with asking: R U OK?

06.01.2022 So important to put in the right safety device in these situations. General bollards simply aren’t suitable and Energy Absorbing Bollards must be considered. Like everything in life you get what you pay for and in this situation someone has been seriously injured.

05.01.2022 Firstly, may all come well with this injured gentleman. This serious incident is a reminder to everyone of the importance of fit-for-purpose safety bollards. Energy Absorbing Bollards (EAB) like those supplied by Roadside Services and Solutions must be installed for the safety of people and infrastructure. The Roadside EAB is fitted into an EAB cartridge concreted into the ground. Those installed at this Hallett Cove cafe are only base-plated and cannot withstand the force of an errant vehicle. #bollards #safety #caraccident

01.01.2022 While the state of Victoria is dubbed the manufacturing state, this year our showcase for Australian Made Campaign week shines a light not only on our Victorian manufacturing plant located at 841 Mountain Highway, Bayswater but also our South Australian manufacturing plant located at Sherriffs Road West, Lonsdale. The South Australia sign manufacturing plant is one of the last remaining sign manufacturers in South Australia. Our products support many of the local councils and government authorities involved in the road networks and we’re proud that we can produce these signs in Australia. Check out these Aussies we are proud to call our employees at our South Australian sign making plant - Alex Warnakulasuriya, Helen Saunders, Jake Howkins, Luke Flaxman, Greg Bridgman and Nick Ogle. #Australianmade #manufacturing #signs #saferroads
