24.01.2022 Introducing CHARLOTTE RUBENDRA as a ROAR Academy team member JTF 2020. What Charlotte loves about JTC/JTF? "We start off in our own Theatre Groups, but by the end of our celebration we are just one big family. I have been lucky to be at the very first Australian JTC in 2016 and to see the festival grow so much is crazy. The Pilot Program is amazing - I did it in 2018 performing in "Sister Act Jnr". It is intensive, exhausting , but soooo much fun to be a part of. ... I love going back looking at past year's photos and pieces, especially - the New Works. Roar has presented twice in New Works and they were ridiculously good. I have been very lucky to have been chosen as an "Aussie All Star" in 2018 and 2019. This automatically qualified me to join the Team travelling to the U.S the following year. I also loved that I got to cook Spaghetti Bolognese for my team during Pilot Week." Charlotte has been a ROAR student since 2012 and has performed in numerous musicals for both ROAR and RMT. She has also has had a very distinguished journey with our Drama Troupes in the SE Qld Drama Festivals winning multiple acting awards. Our favourite memory of Charlotte is as Marvin the Martian in Little Panto of Horrors. Charlotte we wish you an awesome JTF "AT HOME" here in Redcliffe this weekend, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you as a performer. See more
