Step 1- roll dice Step 2- move to Station number Mark 1 or 6 Complete the exercise: beginner 10, intermediate to advanced 15 or 20 reps.... Step 3- run back to cone and dice, score a point for your team. Roll dice once again. By any chance you roll the same number, run the forfeit leg around the roundabout giving the other team a one person advantage. The finisher: "Fools Gold". Using to Tabata protocol 8 rounds 20 seconds work/ 10 seconds rest. 4 times through and recording the lowest score as the result. 1- Close Grip Push Ups,2- Squats,3- Crunches,4- Left Leg HighKnee Drive,5- left leg HighKnee Drive,6- Insane Push Ups,7- Full Sit Ups,8- Ski Jumps. 18.01.2022 There's an old saying 'out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks', so this is what's in my heart. If any of the guys that do my classes are reading this now, I want to tell you I love you guys. The combinations and what we achieve at training are great (as you can see Jen & Grace), but the journey I'm doing with you guys is priceless. So thank you. Let's finish next week strong. 16.01.2022 We kicked off the session tonight at Flash PT- Dogs don't skip skipping single foot side to side 30 seconds skipping running on the spot 30 seconds 3 Point kneeling fire hydrant 30 seconds... 3 Point kneeling fire hydrant 30 seconds skipping single foot side to side 30 seconds skipping running on spot 30 seconds get ups 30 seconds plank 30 seconds Repeating Circuit 3 times no rest That was just the warm up after the main round we finished with controlled scapular retraction movements, slow control movement 4 minutes set. resistance band chair pose bent elbows scapular protraction 1 minute resistance band children's pose straight elbow scapular protraction 1 minute prone position power band in hand tight small ball, passing the power band in a tight small ball from front to behind back and finishing with a tight small ball. 1 minute 1 way rest then the other way for 1 minute. 08.01.2022 Wacky Race Step 1- Players start at the start Point Step 2- Each player must complete 10 laps of the orange cones. While staying in between the yellow cones. Players are allowed to take another player during the game if a player is tag they must stop and complete 5 squats before carrying on. Rules... 1. Players squatting are allowed to tag others player who is running past them. 2. Partner A starts the exercise while partner B does a designated run leg. When partner B returns from run leg they carry on from partner A's rep count. Sharing the load of 100 reps. 06.01.2022 I came to Gilly when I was 17, as a typical 17 year old, I was struggling with understanding the norms of society, finding my feet and discovering myself. I was also struggling with depression and anxiety. Quiet, scared and unsure with everything I was currently doing, someone mentioned Gilly was doing bootcamp in Toolamba. I managed to convince my mum and we rocked up on the cold fresh morning of Spring. Little did I know I just walked into a life changing and influencing l...ifestyle which has helped me massively still to this day. I quickly learnt Gilly wasn't just a fitness instructor, but he was going to come my mentor and a huge link in my support network. I learnt to speak out, to push myself and strive for the greatest I could possibly achieve. Some mornings were harder than others but Gilly was always there encouraging me, pushing me and ensuring me that whatever I achieve that morning will be enough and he will proud. the rest of the team in toolamba quickly formulated into my family, I ended up spending an amazing year with them all. My anxiety and frustrations on the world decreased significantly, I found confidence again and was proud of the body I had. Of December 2014 I said goodbye to everyone and moved to Geelong to start studying. However in April 2015 I lost my father suddenly and my whole world came crashing down again like it did when I was 17. Mum knew of the close relationship I had with Gilly and the Toolamba crew, she messaged him and told him what had happened. He didn't say much but he said everything I needed to hear, he told me to come back to bootcamp and focus back onto my fitness. It was what I needed, I needed something to focus on so I didn't lose myself in the confusion and mourning of losing a loved one. I quickly moved back to Toolamba and regained the life I once had before I left. Gilly supported me when I needed it most and so did everyone on the team. I'm now back in Geelong studying again, a year on and I owe so much of my ability to get through last year to bootcamp, the Toolamba team and especially Gilly. Gilly showed me the life of fitness, showed me how strong I can be when I put my mind to it and pushed me to become the person I am now. I hit my peak fitness, became proud of what I ate and my body and health never in its life felt as good as what it did. Gilly was my teacher and he taught me so many lessons I will keep with me always. I will always be thankful for the person he was and still is in my world, anyone who knows Gilly enough, will know how much of an incredible person he is and if you choose to listen he will give you the advice you need. My journey these last three years has been long and I wouldn't know how I would have been able to cope and handle everything if it wasn't for every single person on the Toolamba team and Gilly, without them I wouldn't be who I am now. 04.01.2022 'Galaxy defender' tonight. It was tough but rewarding. Aim: to defend the Galaxy from rival civilisations. Method: 2 teams with two ship captains - Jen Lovel and Brad Williams. Jen's team is called the Princess Leia's, Brad's team the Wookies. Teams must follow the game card directed by ship captains and complete all 15 tasks, one at a time. Teams can move on to the next exercise task only when everybody in the team has completed previous one. After all that has been complete...d the team captain may sprint over, pick up the Vortex of light cone and shout out 'Galaxy Defender'. This can be shouted out by myself at any stage under attack during this point, all players must sprint out 100 paces and back carrying on where they left off with their exercise. Exercises and tasks: 1. Burpees - beginner: 20, intermediate: 30, advanced 35. 2. Press ups - beginner: 30, inter: 40, adv: 60. 3. Sit-ups - beginner: 25, inter: 35, adv: 50. 4. 04.01.2022 10 second Drill - next level in Group Personal Training. After a dynamic warm up and monkey squats everyone had to earn their rest - I want maximum results from the start! Knowing each individual personally and seeing that each member could give me more, there was no rest until round 3!! This was a flight or fight moment - my Team chose to fight! 5 rounds, 5 different strength exercises at the completion of each round.
