25.01.2022 last one for a bit , really enjoy going back to jobs once the owners have moved back in and made the homes their own again , dropped into a job we did a couple of years ago in Denison Street the other day and the place looks like a home , just as it may have when it was first built in the 1840's great work Steve and Arli , love it

22.01.2022 what can be achieved with a bit of imagination and a couple of sons who know how to swing a hammer , the boys pretty much did this room , yeh I know I said last but going through denison st photos this always stands out in the before and afters

21.01.2022 Dooralong is done now , owners have moved in and are loving their little cottage I’ll post up a few before , during and after shots , bathroom is first off , simple with affordable style

12.01.2022 And that’s my 30 th year of working for myself over and done with . An interesting year indeed and hopefully next year won’t be as challenging Massive thanks to all the trades that work with us as without the amazing quality work you do we wouldn’t have the great reputation that we have , I really appreciate all that you do for me , even putting up with my ridiculously pedantic attitude toward everything that goes into our intricate work. And a massive shoutout to my boys ..., Jackson and Marshall have to put up with me and then go home and put up with me again but as mates rather than work colleagues. It means more than you pair will ever know to have you by my side , nailbags on and doing what Curtis’s have done best for a solid 100+ years Building definitely runs through our veins . Thanks too to all our amazing clients who also have to put up with me and my stupid amount of questions and also my ability to ostrich for days and then pop up and return calls just when your ready to call me again And to any page followers that don’t fall into any of the above catagories , thanks for liking our page and hope I give you a bit of a glimpse into the world of building and mainly heritage restoration. 06.01.2022 we've also been hiding in Cooks Hill making a silk purse out of this old lady and her garage. She was moved from Wallsend to Corlette Street in the 20's and hadn't seen a lot of love but the new owners are giving her the respect she deserves The garage transformation without knocking it down turned out a treat , lots of lateral thinking involved heaps of pruning , lots of propping , few hours with the laser level and straightening , heaps of new treated framework , touch of hardiflex , bit of strapping and a cottage green roof and here she is now .

04.01.2022 been a while and the boys and I have been really motoring through the work. Our Georgetown bathroom has been completed , heres a few before , during and finished photos , turned out a treat, even knocked up the Louvre window . Love the floor tiles , they have an old world look with a 2021 feel , nice choice by the owners
