21.01.2022 Beyond proud! Last week we had a team of our young riders head to SIEC for the 2019 NSW State Interschool Championships and it was a successful show for all! Starting with our girls in the Medium championship, we had Isabella Price take 1st place in the 4C with a PB of 66.73%, followed by Chelsea Brown who took 2nd place with 64.29% and Isabelle Promnitz taking 5th place who also cracked a PB in the 4B with 61.49%. Well done girls! Next was the Elementary championship... which saw Chelsea Brown again on the podium winning the 3B with 66.63% and placing 5th in the 3C. Chelsea ultimately placed 3rd overall in both Elementary and Medium Championships and Isabella was 2nd overall in the Medium Championship and are qualified for Nationals. Absolutely top job girls! On to the Novices and Prelims we had one of McKinnon Sport Horses students Ella Hayward who rode 4 very neat tests with two scores over 65% and placing within the top 10. Good job Ella! Bridget Schereck also competed in the Preliminary tests, riding two lovely tests for 63.04% and 67.86% in the 1B and 1C, respectively And finally, our lovely Ella Cullen who also rode in the Preliminary championship receiving scores both over 67% and placing 9th and 10th in a class of over 30 riders. Very proud Ella! Overall, a widely successful show for everyone and a very proud moment for Ali and the team at Robali and Mckinnon Sport Horses!

11.01.2022 What a way to finish what has been a very productive and successful two weeks! Robali Equestrian and McKinnon Sport Horses teamed up for two mega clinics which saw clients both local, far and wide come together to enjoy a few days of training and learning. Great progress was made by all who attended in their lessons and the visual demonstrations given in the masterclass by Ali, Robbie and Dave even showed a few ‘ah-hah!’ moments. One who participated last week was Ella Cowg...ill, a student from Ali’s Bega clinics. Ella brought along two horses - Bayview Toyboy (Burt) and Anastasia (Ruby). She received lessons from Ali, polishing her position and hack workouts and also from Robbie, working on her newcomer mare with limited exposure to being out and about. Ella then went on to compete at the Pacific Coast Hack Championships at SIEC which saw great success on both horses, winning the Child’s Hack over 15hh on Toyboy, Reserve Champion in the newcomer ring on Anastasia and topping it off with winning the Rider Class of 15-17 years. A very proud moment for us and our team at Robali and MSH - and a huge congratulations to the lovely Ella! See more

10.01.2022 A big thank you to Trish Bennett and the committee from Hawkesbury and Hills Hack Association for inviting me to coach a talented group of riders on the weekend. The weather was atrocious but we were so beautifully looked after by Sonja Walsh from Into The West Equestrian! Wonderful indoor arena and food! Thank you so much Sonja! Love to visit again one day without the cyclone!
