11.01.2022 This weekend, hundreds of people rallied in towns affected by the water crisis on the Murray-Darling river system. On the same day, Indigenous elders and famili...es gathered at the birth place of the Murrumbidgee River in Kosciuszko National Park to conduct a traditional healing ceremony. At the Narjong ceremony, senior lore men from across New South Wales were joined by Major Moogy Sumner, a Ngarrindjeri elder and songman from the Coorong at the mouth of the Murray River in South Australia.
