25.01.2022 Beautiful little merbau deck from the past weekend. The existing deck was over 15 years old and no longer safe for poolside lounging. Originally the deck boards were just to be replaced, but this later proved not to be possible, as a complete joist rebuild and level would be in order. The deck was built using feature grade 90mm merbau, and fixed using feature 8g stainless trim head screws. Double fascias were Installed at both the front stairs entrance and the main yard side.... 22.01.2022 A few black hook and loop pool fencing panels were mounted to this engineered concrete retaining wall, in order to complete this clients beautiful front garden fence in time for summer .... These profile panels are slightly trickier to install than their flat top panel counterparts, but ultimately provide a nicer finish for boundary fencing. The existing polycarbonate (perspex) roofing had holes from previous hail storms so they were after a long lasting replacement to suit there needs. 11.01.2022 The main job all finished up... Timberlook plank tiles were Installed onto this old and unappealing deck in order to modernize their outdoor living area. The house entrance way tiles were then removed and relayed at level to the new floor in order to eliminate any step-up. The upper ballustrades were then all sanded back and finished using two coats of oil to tie the new area together.
