03.01.2022 Open for Business A message to our clients and friends On Wednesday night, we, like many businesses in Victoria, will be forced to close our physical offices in Mornington. We believe this will have minimal impact on how we deal with and advise our clients. We have been very proactive throughout this pandemic in protecting the health and safety of our staff and clients, and remain confident that the steps being taken across Victoria will help us all to return to ‘normal’ s...oon. As a firm, we have embraced better and more efficient ways of running an accounting practice by operating things like cloud-based accounting and document imaging for our core computer services . We did this many years ago because we thought it was a better way to operate, with efficiencies that we have passed on to our clients, but it has also made the transition to work from home easier than we expected although it is not our preferred way to work. We have continued to work from our office in Mornington since the March lockdown but in accordance with latest direction from the Victorian Government we must now continue to work from home which does give us the opportunity to ensure our processes are working smoothly by remote means. We remain open to provide accounting, taxation and advisory services to you and your clients. How we will operate Our telephone system is fully operational, and all messages will be monitored by our staff and calls will be returned by the appropriate staff members. For those clients or friends seeking particular advice we advise that Lew Robbins will be available throughout the lockdown on his mobile telephone 0417 357 130 We will continue to see our clients using a range of video conferencing technology including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. We recognise these are tough times for all Victorians and we are here to work with you in a manner that makes it as easy as possible for you.
