24.01.2022 So, there's another conspiracy being spread on Facebook atm. This one is about The Lord's Prayer being banned by Mark Zuckerberg. Christians outraged that Mark would do this, are posting The Lord's Prayer in an act of defiance and as a challenge to others to be bold about their faith. "This is the best challenge I've ever seen on Facebook. So if you love Him and you're not ashamed, please join me in this challenge of faith!" They then post the Lord's Prayer which, surprise s...urprise, is not blocked ~ proving this is a hoax. 15.01.2022 My parents taught me that who we vote for is a private matter and is no one else's business. I agree. I believe it is singularly unwise for any Christian to declare their political persuasion. Christian leaders should not make partisan political comments, align strongly with one party, demonise another, or endorse a political candidate. When we show our political bias, we naturally polarise people. Some will agree; others won't. We thus create division rather than unity. The... Gospel of Jesus is for everyone regardless of their politics. Jesus lived, died, and rose again for all. No one was left out. The church needs to be above politics and focus on what it's here for. If we are to be like Jesus, we must be able to say, as he did, I am here to serve, not to lord it over and dominate. Those who follow Jesus are citizens of heaven. We are on earth as ambassadors (representatives of heaven in a foreign land). Our ministry is that of reconciliation, not division. Our focus is to bring heaven to earth, not political arguments and unkind comments. That kind of church is incredibly attractive. The other kind repels.

11.01.2022 Several American prophets predicted Donald Trump would win a second term. It would be wonderful if these guys humbly said, "sorry, I got it wrong on this one." The article I've posted suggests they probably won't. Christians don't stone their prophets. But we are told, "Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good" (1 Thess 5:20-21). The so-called prophecies about a Trump win are (probably) wrong. They are not good.
