25.01.2022 During practice we had a blown clutch with a piece of the clutch plate slicing its way through the bellhousing. It necessitated removing the engine to change the clutch plate. After looking everywhere for a replacement we used an E type Jag plate which was a bit loose on the splines. That meant taking it easy for the rest of the weekend

24.01.2022 Le Mans Classic is on the bucket list. To qualify it is said that you to do some lead up races with the same organisers, so thanks to Commins Hendriks Medical and Sports Law Solicotors and Robert Ingram Medical Law we recently entered the 1961Lotus Elite in the Dix Mille Tours du Castellet for Sixties Endurance ( pre 66 GT ), at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. This is the home of the French F1 GP.

22.01.2022 Starting re restoration of the 1981-1983 Bathurst Hardie Ferodo 1000 Duggin/Storah/Ryan Group C Mazda RX7. Barry was not happy with the initial paint work so we did it again. It looks a million dollars. Too good to race maybe.

15.01.2022 The re-restoration of the 1983 Bathurst 1000 Group C Mazda RX7 is coming along nicely. The livery is almost complete. Craig from Choice Signs in Canberra has done a great job.I suppose at some stage we will put this one up for sale. It already has a Certificate of Description and Historic log book.

12.01.2022 Well its time to fire up this page after the Xmas/ New Year break thanks to Commins Hendriks Medical and Sports Law Solicitors and Robert Ingram Medical and Sports Law. Our next outing is at the Phillip Island Classic 6-8 March. Over the last 12 months Les Laidlaw at Laidlaw Motorsport Services, on the Gold Coast, has been restoring the Charlie O'Brien BumpaTBumpa Group A BMW 635 CSi. What a fabulous job he has done. We are excited that Charlie O'Brien has agreed to drive the car at the Classic. No doubt fans will remember the yellow BumpaTBumpa colour scheme, but we have decked it out in the John English colours and specs of Bathurst 1986. Photos include COB having a seat fitting today.

05.01.2022 We know it has been done before in 2013 with the Poole/Lowndes/Davison entry , but we have acquired a 1951 48-215 (FX) Holden to build a replica of the original FX Holden that competed in the 1953 Monte Carlo Rally, to take part in the Monte Carlo Historic Rally and other UK and European rallies including Tour Auto and HERO type events.
