24.01.2022 Mudgees original Chardonnay vines are regarded to be the source for much of Australias Chardonnay plantings in the 1960s. In fact, Craigmoors then winemaker Pieter Van Gent, released the first Aussie Chardonnay in 1972. The variety achieving rock star status in the 1980s. This Chardonnay is a modern expression of the Australian style: full-bodied, yet crisp with citrus and melon fruit flavours. Cellar Door open for tasting 11am - 4pm, 7 days a week.
