21.01.2022 "There will always be a possible better version of what you’re making. Successful people know when to stop fiddling and start shipping." - Unknown. Thanks Audra from this one.

21.01.2022 Got this one from Tim Ferris - 'In a first-world economy where we have the physical necessities covered with even low-class income, Mazlow’s hierarchy of needs drives us to need more for any measure of comparative success. Lack of intellectual stimulation, not superlative material wealth, is what drives us to depression and emotional bankruptcy. Generalizing and experimenting prevents this, while over-specialization guarantees it.'

19.01.2022 "Any single-minded pursuit, unmoored to a deeper purpose, has the potential to take on the characteristics of an addiction. More and more is required to obtain the same high, and the compulsion of the pursuit prompts a growing sense of the despair and unworthiness it is meant to solve." - Tony Schwartz

18.01.2022 My current dilemma... There can be so many opportunities when I say yes though also a lot of stress. You experience this?

18.01.2022 At the heart of us, whatever our imperfections, there exists a silent pulse of perfect rhythmwhich is absolutely individual and unique and yet which connects us to everything in the universe. - George Leonard

11.01.2022 Been struggling to get up early so I downloaded a book on my kindle yesterday called 'the miracle morning'. I have just had an 'ah ha' moment after reading the highlighted part in photo. It's so interesting how reading this has helped my mind create new relationships leading to me being able to get up early. I ended up getting up at 5.30am this morning! It will be interesting to see how this new habit, I've been struggling with, will evolve now

09.01.2022 Friend just shared this with me - so interesting!! https://youtu.be/n_ffqEA8X5g

07.01.2022 Probably one of the biggest 'ah uh' moments I've had this year is that we can ALWAYS move towards who and what's important to us, no matter what the context serves us. I have 'known this' though it's so cool when you 'get it' just a little more than you did previously. #MiracleMorning day 18

07.01.2022 Interesting blog on love - "Throughout most of human history, legal partnerships or marriages were social contracts. Such social contracts helped people improve their social standing, legitimized the resulting children, and maintained inheritance rights (Coontz, 2005). According to Coontz, nearly as soon as love-based marriages became the fashion in the late nineteenth century, the divorce rate escalated.'.... 'One of the greatest problems with relying on a feeling of being in love as a guide to the health or vitality of a romantic relationship is that feelings may change'. https://www.newharbinger.com//love-feeling-problems-conven

05.01.2022 'Give up being perfect for being authentic' - unknown

02.01.2022 'The e-mail inbox is nothing but a convenient organising system of other people's agendas' - Brendon Burchard

02.01.2022 The difficulty is, sometimes, there is no way to support a client return to engaging in an occupation that they were engaged in prior to the incident leading to your involvement. The barrier that then impacts on occupational engagement becomes more psychological - they are fused with the thought I need to do.. We need to support them to explore ‘why’ (values) they were engaged in that particular occupation, followed by exploring what other daily activities this person can do to support them move towards this value.

01.01.2022 Scary - Sending nude pictures to one another (aka 'sexting') is how courtship tends to play out amongst teenagers these days - sourced from a recent Australian Sexual Health Survey (Mitchell, 2014) http://www.psychology.org.au/inpsych/2015/april/smith/
