25.01.2022 I love a view camera...mine is a Sinar with various lenses and roll-film backs...this was shot on B&W neg with a red filter, onto the 6x12 back and then processed through Negative Lab Pro and taken into the archive.

23.01.2022 1976. Diamantina Lakes Station. Shot during a visit with The RFDS, which doubled as a mail plane at that time... The Olivetti (they made typewriters) office 1350KM air miles away probaby had an inkling of the problem.

14.01.2022 Had a chat with Will Shipton ( a fine chap who is a trained Journo and publishes his on-line magazine) about The Archive and a few related subjects...thanks, Will Shipton.... https://www.insideimaging.com.au/2020/photo-archiving/

13.01.2022 I've always had a 300mm lens handy...you get such wonderful perspective....kids on board their floating home, Aberdeen Harbour Hong Kong 1977

12.01.2022 Corporate work was a great gig at times....this for the front cover of an Annual Report in the 80's for Mobil. Shot this way deliberately to allow type layout. Happy Graphic Designer (always a good career move) and happy client. Shot somewhere near Bacchus Marsh...probably covered in houses by now.

08.01.2022 Twilight Sailing, Fremantle Sailing Club.

08.01.2022 Don't you hate that...shot this for The Australian Colour Magazine. The Boulders, at Mirriwinni...this was used big, and then I saw it. Shot it, edited the trannies, designer sized it up and saw the proof and missed it too. The foot of my tripod. In the foreground. Cringe.

08.01.2022 If you travel in the outback, the term "the Channel Country" will arise. This is why it is referred to in that manner. It's a massive area, and this small part is near the old Diamantina Lakes Station, SW Queensland. Shot from RFDS aircraft 1976

02.01.2022 Sand Mining, Fraser Island, Queensland. This activity began in 1949 and was ceased in late 1976 when the Federal Government adopted a recommendation of the Fraser Island Environmental Inquiry. This image shot mid '76.

02.01.2022 Shooting food is always challenging and a little "on the edge"..so many factors to juggle but there are chefs involved, and I've always found them a delight
