25.01.2022 Amazing with one con! Wonderful Werribee Mansion (Mansion Hotel) Melbourne (Pictured.) This room is known as The Theatre and needed to be made more intimate. The ceiling is imposing but very high. Add Festoon lights. Voila!... The ceiling height is not my, against. My against is below near the end. For a garden wedding, if that is your wish the gardens are huge. Ill put a picture I took in another post This venue is known as The Theatre because it is a theatre. Behind where I am taking this picture is an actual stage. Its small in that it does not have much depth. It is there. Ill show that view in another post. I added some pretty sparkle lights as part of my DJ/Host package to make the stage pop a little without it being too demanding. There was no set aside bridal table it was round like the rest. The fashion in tables at the moment is for long tables. My DJ take is Long Tables look great in a picture. They are way less social. Getting around the room is harder. For me, round tables make for a better overall party & atmosphere. There is one con for this space. The Theatre at Werribee Mansions, has no air conditioning. We had a fantastic night. Life is right here right now to add more compassion, joy and laughter. We let go of yesterday, an hour ago ten minutes ago. We can make a choice right now, as to how things will go from this moment. Creating any event takes work but it is very straight forward.... We can seek out talent that can take us beyond our expectations. Now this is my focus. To exceed expectations. To help others to know what they do not know. To have something great, the focus has to be on this desire. Why throw the biggest party of our lives to have it be like every other. If your service is off site. IE. Its different to where you are having your wedding reception. You can have more time taking photos if you have the service earlier. Scout out a hotel or a bar, at which guests can gather ahead of turning up early at the reception facility. In fact, the missing ingredient at most wedding receptions is the engagement of the guests. We just put on a three-course meal, throwing people together and hope that they can cope with the small talk. We add speeches and dancing. Every bride and groom do just this and not much more. For me, it is about creating and enhancing connection. You the bride and groom will be th...anked and loved in spades for making the effort to lift the bar on a wedding dinner There are many many ideas on how to uplift a wedding reception Here are four. 1/The Wedding Party Introduction, Think about how the couples are to come in. My favourite is to tell their life stories in a minute or less each person using soundscapes and music as only a DJ can. This introduction is a five-star experience for everyone. It has laughs and smiles all round and you do not have to do much because I do it for you. It creates great connection and gets the party started right out of the blocks. Good fortune favours the bold. They can dance in. There have been some spectacular entrances by wedding parties and or you the couple. Why not, we are only doing this once. It is about the unexpected, the delightful and the surprising. Your guests will be blown away and love you even more. These intro's are my experience. I will help you. It works big time. 2/ Create a fun moment between entree and main course. For me, this is not the occasion for a quite dinner with friends. You can do that anytime at a restaurant. For ideas read the principle book creating memories, ''The Best Wedding ReceptionEver!'' (Ill give you a copy free if I meet you :) One idea, have me read out loud a ''Left Right Story created just for you by me as your MC, or you can get your MC to write, read and orchestrate this excellent and funny interactive. If I do the story for you, I will bring all the humour, fun, engagement and experience that will again have guests thanking you 3/ Have something interactive and fun during dinner. ''Kissing Couples'' is the funniest thing to see with the right crowd. A trivia quiz that is based on the bride and groom is a lot of fun and has been very successful. There is much more I can suggest. 4/ Create a killer first dance. This takes practice; you do not have to be champs, just your attempt will have your guests love you. What I am saying here is, if you are inviting 80 to 150 people or more to be at your reception do something, anything more than a three-course meal and dancing. Heli lounge bar is circular and the only thing between you and the footpath 34 floors below is a rope post. ... A rope post is the 50cm wide strip like safety belt material stretched between silver posts. We see them when we wait in line, like say the movies or somewhere where you wait in line.
