24.01.2022 Did someone say isolation? As any artist knows, isolation just means more time to play in the studio. I have been working on some new techniques of layering and glazing in Acrylic. Here is a preview of a larger finished piece. These are hard times for many, but hopefully we can all get out the paints and fill in our time spent at home.

18.01.2022 I am happy to announce that my work will be featured alongside a talented group of AGRA fellows in this January exhibition. I hope that you can check it out. In Real Time celebrates the history of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (AGRA). Founded in 1974, and based in Camberwell since the early 1990s, AGRA has brought realist art into the Australian spotlight for well over forty years. In 2000, they instituted an annual competition the Australian Art Excellence Awar...d and youll have the rare opportunity to see the winning works of the past 19 years. This exhibition offers an opportunity to see how an artists practice evolves over time. Realist paintings from the Town Hall Gallery Collection also feature in this exhibition

17.01.2022 So many classes, workshops and events were cancelled in the arts community, I can appreciate why we are taking these serious measures, strange times we live in. I just wanted to say sorry if you were booked in for a class/ demo/ workshop with me and it has been cancelled. I hope that everyone is keeping safe and that you are able to dedicate some time to your art over winter. I look forward to the art world starting up again. 08.01.2022 Winner of Best Oil Prize at Camberwell Art Show 2018 Aerial East Coast oil on canvas by Robert Knight 122 x 122cm "I travelled to Port Macquarie last year and photographed the views from the aircraft. This scene was near Sydney over Marley beach. I was drawn to the abstract patterns of the landscape. The clouds with their shadows gave me a feeling of weightlessness. Such inspiration!" 07.01.2022 Grampians Brushes is on now. An inspiring annual event for the art calendar in Victoria. Live in scenic Halls Gap for a week and attend art workshops every day.
