10.01.2022 TasWater advises Latrobe residents that investigation works will be undertaken around the township from Wednesday 6 March until around Friday 15 March. The wor...k will include potholing, or digging small holes above and around our sewer mains to determine an accurate reading of where and how deep the other infrastructure is in the ground. The streets TasWater contractors will be investigating include Thomas, James, Fenton, Percival, Reibey and Last Streets and Kings Park. The investigations are required to inform a potential larger project on the Latrobe sewer network to help resolve overflow issues in the township. TasWater contractors will ensure safe pedestrian access and property access is maintained at all times. Traffic management will also be in place where necessary. Please take care around the works and ensure you slow down where traffic management is operational. 07.01.2022 KERBSIDE RECYCLING COLLECTIONS Due to illness amongst Councils contracted workforce responsible for the collection of the kerbside recycling bins, there have b...een delays in their collection. If your recycling has not yet been collected, please leave your bin out a little longer as they are making their way through the Municipality and hope to clear this backlog tomorrow. If your bin is not collected tomorrow, please phone Council on 64264444 and advise of your street so we can follow through with our contractor. They apologise for this situation which is currently beyond their control.
