Rob could see soil structure and soil biology declining under the standard intensive ve...getable production practices. This was leading to increased production costs and soil disease issues. Rob has implemented key practices to improve soil health and the family business. Pre-conference tour 2 will make a stop at Kalfresh in the Fassifern Valley. 10.01.2022 We had a fantastic trip away to the Gold Coast recently to attend the 2018 Australian Biological Farming Conference, we met lots of inspiring and knowledgeable farmers, scientists and international guest speakers. We also enquired about becoming certified organic and the transition for us is going to be very straight forward as we have been growing this way for a few years now. So we just need to fill out the paperwork to apply for certification and we will be inconversion for a couple of years before being fully signed off as certified organic. So please spread the word that our branded Robertson Alstroemeria is being grown organically with the certification label soon to follow.

06.01.2022 We have certainly noticed less aphids and moths attaching our kale when it was companion planted with calendula or marigolds, it is the healthiest and best looking kale we have ever grown.
