17.01.2022 Health Advice for Families Regarding COVID 19 In accordance with advice from NSW Health, parents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms. Schools will make arrangements for students who present as unwell or have flu like symptoms to be sent home. NSW Health have requested that schools encourage anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested through their local... medical practitioner or one of the COVID-19 clinics. Students and staff with flu like symptoms will need to provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result before being permitted to return to school. Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation in keeping the community safe.

16.01.2022 Important Changes to How Parents Access the School: Parents/carers and other non-essential visitors are not allowed on the school site. Parents are not permitted on the school site unless contact has been made with the school by phone on 98247411 prior to visiting. For those parents who need to pick up their child early or collect an unwell child please contact the school and the administration staff will walk your child to the front gate.... A table will be placed outside the front office to enable the pick up and drop off of, for example, paperwork or forgotten lunches etc. Pick up and drop off remains the same. Parents should take care to physically distance from other parents and staff at all times. Thank you all once again for doing your best for your families and our community.

01.01.2022 The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students of Robert Townson Public School have been working hard to design a shirt that will represent our Aboriginal community. This idea came from our very enthusiastic Junior AECG and the shirt will be an important part of our school uniform, available for all staff and students. We are inviting our parent community to contribute to the selection of the shirt’s design through an online voting system via the link below. Students hav...e voted at school. Voting will be open until Friday 25 September, when community votes will be combined with staff and student votes to determine which shirt will become part of our uniform.
