20.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope you are staying safe and well during this time. I just wanted to share QB's new online dance classes - these are free to download and designed for participants to complete at home. They range from Petit Pointers (early years dance), Ballet for Seniors, Adult Ballet, Barre and Tone and Stretch classes - more will be released in the coming weeks.... Such a great resource :)

Tayah, Charliese, Summer, Hannah, Sky.....Well Done! Special thanks to Miss Hayley and Miss Mel from Global Dance Pro, as well as Mrs Harwood and Miss Bennett for all your support. We are currently taking enrolments for the 2021 Cert IV in Dance. 14.01.2022 In the interests of fitness, upper body strength, and most importantly, mental health, Dance teacher Miss Bennett is participating in the Push-up challenge!! 145 push-ups per day over 21 days if you see Miss Bennett around the school feel free to tell her to drop to the floor and push-up! Oh and seniors, look forward to lots of push-ups in your dance classes

04.01.2022 Our final event for #HarmonyWeek was our Feel Good Friday "Distanced Dancing" at morning tea today! It was great fun!

03.01.2022 This from the Danc’ed Commitee: BAD NEWS... You will probably not be surprised, but unfortunately we have had to cancel this year's Danc'eD in the Spotlight festival because of policy restrictions on concerts and excursions. It was going to be very difficult even before the pandemic since HOTA will not allow us to hire out the Lakeside Room (old Paradise Room) which was really necessary for our large event to run, so in future years, this major obstacle will have to be dealt... with. GOOD NEWS... However, we are hoping to help the spirit of Danc'eD to continue this year by organising a guest choreographer to teach a routine (via video) to our schools and then compile a video of all of our students performing the same dance so that it can be used as a promo to help open our event in 2021. It will be a virtual version of our combined schools' opening item/finale. Details and dates will be posted in August. We are very disappointed to not be meeting with you dedicated teachers and your lovely, smiling students this year. Hopefully our online version of the power of dance as a cooperative celebration will be an exciting experience for your students to look forward to, however. We will be in touch in August and in the mean time, take care.
