23.01.2022 Back-to-back Queensland Champions and the future is bright! That’s right, Robina SHS have won the Baseball 5s Queensland Championship for the second year in a t...ight final. We were eventually victorious 11-10 in a walk off thanks to some Robina magic right at the end. To top things off, we invited two of our feeder schools - Mudgeeraba Creek SS and Robina SS. Both played exceptionally well, particularly as the game is still very new to them, and both made the Primary School Grand Final. It was Robina who won it in a great game 11-10. Congratulations to everyone involved in a great tournament and thank you Baseball Queensland for your ongoing support #strongertogether See more

21.01.2022 Today the Community, Action and Service Program held a fundraiser. Offering the classic Aussie sausage sizzle and ice cold drinks, the people voting at our school were well looked after. We also started our annual Titans raffle. We’d like to thank Coles Robina for their generous sponsorship. We’d also like to thank the members of our community that supported us with their donations and purchases. Thanks again to the awesome students and teachers that made it all happen.

21.01.2022 Year 10 Japanese class today = let’s imagine we’re in Japan ( because some of us were supposed to be!) Iced matcha and goma lattes chestnut, sweet bean paste and choc hazelnut

20.01.2022 Our school has been taking part in the #OnigiriAction challenge to help feed children in need! Every time someone takes a photo of a Japanese rice ball and posts with #OnigiriAction until October 31, five school meals are donated to children in need around the world. #WorldFoodDay on October 16 was established by the United Nations as a day for everyone to think about food problems in the world. To celebrate World Food Day, TABLE FOR TWO (TFT) holds "Onigiri Action" with a goal to deliver 1 million meals to children in need every year. Our students and our Kingfisher Kafe have been supporting this movement all week. Some of our Academic Excellence students even put an Australian twist on their Onigiri and made them out of lamingtons! Check it out. #SDG2

20.01.2022 This week we had 10 very enthusiastic mountain bike racers in the Gold Coast Schools Competition at the Nerang State Forest. Nic moved up one place this year coming 2nd in the Year 11/12 category and was only 13 seconds back from first! A huge achievement within 150 riders. Thanks to the families that supported the event and helped out. Timing can be seen through the Rocky Trail Entertainment website.

07.01.2022 Under the guidance of Miss Norburn, this week our 8K Science class designed, built and tested earthquake proof buildings. This challenge required them to use their STEM abilities and make the cheapest building to withstand a simulated earthquake. Their designs were made from spaghetti sticks and blue tac and had to stand higher than 60cm with a footprint less than 400cm2. Most of the teams met the challenge, but Lucas, Riley, Taj and Elly’s design stood out from the crowd with a cost of only $42, compared to other designs that were over $50. Well done!
