23.01.2022 Congratulations to both of our boys teams in the Gold Coast Alliance Cup for football. The 7/8 team and the 9/10 team played some great football, won a majority of their games and made it through to the semi finals. Both semis were very tight and the players fought all the way to the final whistle #strongertogether
23.01.2022 Gold Coast Alliance Cup champions! Congratulations to our Year 7-9 Girls on taking out this new event in 2020. We finished the day with 10 goals scored and a clean sheet (conceding only 1 goal in the final penalty shoot out). After defeating Southport SHS with a convincing 5-0 victory we took on Pimpama with another comfortable 2-0 win. The final game was played against PBC who topped Pool 2. After end to end football, the game finished locked at 0-0. This saw us proceed straight to penalty shoot outs. Tallyn, Taliyah and Tia (triple T threat) all stepped up to the mark and scored and with Bree in goals saving 3 PBC shots we sealed the victory to be crowned inaugural Alliance Cup Girls Champions #strongertogether

22.01.2022 Back-to-back Queensland Champions and the future is bright! That’s right, Robina SHS have won the Baseball 5s Queensland Championship for the second year in a tight final. We were eventually victorious 11-10 in a walk off thanks to some Robina magic right at the end. To top things off, we invited two of our feeder schools - Mudgeeraba Creek SS and Robina SS. Both played exceptionally well, particularly as the game is still very new to them, and both made the Primary School Grand Final. It was Robina who won it in a great game 11-10. Congratulations to everyone involved in a great tournament and thank you Baseball Queensland for your ongoing support #strongertogether

18.01.2022 What an outstanding day of Baseball5 we had today at Earnshaw State College. A total of 14 teams across both the Junior (Years 4-6) and Senior (Years 7-9) divis...ions. In the Junior division: Robina State School went through the day undefeated, playing at an advanced level from start to finish. They were pushed all the way in the final by an impressive Mudgeeraba Creek State School outfit. The final score 11-10, seeing Robina lift the 'Logan Wade Cup' for the first time. In the Senior division: All three Academy schools, Earnshaw State College, Runcorn State High School and Robina State High School were a pleasure to watch, demonstrating their unbelievable skills in such a fast-paced environment. In the end, Robina 4 faced Earnshaw 1 in a gripping finale. Earnshaw led by 4 runs going into the bottom of the 5th inning and looked destined to lift the 'David Sutherland Cup' for their first time. However a dogged and inspiring comeback saw Robina walk-off on a chaotic final play. The 11-10 final score, sees Robina State High School defend their title. The 92 athletes who took to the courts today showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm for this new sport. Well done to all. A massive thanks to Earnshaw State College for hosting this tournament for the last 2 years. They have gone above and beyond with their hospitality. See you in 2021 with some exciting prospects. #playeverywhere #baseball5 #baseballaustralia #baseballqld #qb5sc
