21.01.2022 Its a strange thing - that time between asleep and awake when everything seems 'normal'. Its a place we all want to stay in. The awakening of a new normal is frightening, uncertain and sometimes unfathomable. Walk on we must Love and Light Rx www.robinahaines.com.au
21.01.2022 Inner strength is something that I came to rely on for a long period of time. Hold on, dont give up. The light, (although sometimes seemingly dim) will shine through eventually - even though most days in grief it seems like all your energy is taken just to breathe. If you know someone doing it tough, reach your hand out. Your hand might just be the source of light that person needs right now. Love and Light... Rx www.robinahaines.com.au See more
21.01.2022 Children hold the loss of someone special close to their heart. I was reminded of this today when I had a chat to my sons lovely teacher. He had told her how much he missed his Dad. He was quite young when my husband passed away but the memories are still quite vivid for him. If you know of a child who has lost someone close, my book titled My Shining Star may help with the grieving process. A story of a young boy who finds comfort through nature around him, told a little differently! RX www.robinahaines.com.au

17.01.2022 Losing someone you love brings out so many emotions that normally you might not have wanted to face. I know personally I battled the intensity of guilt, denial, unbelievable despair, helplessness and had to work hard for my own forgiveness. I will carry Nige in my heart for the rest of my life. To all on this life changing journey, love and light RX www.robinahaines.com.au

16.01.2022 Losing a loved one is hard- but not being able to have closure that a funeral brings, with all the people that have loved and cared, causes just a little more despair. My heart is with all those that have lost loved ones - no matter what the situation. Please look after one another. Please stay home. Lets try and get our community and way of life back together. 15.01.2022 A little snippet from a new project I am working on in 2020. I have never written fiction, but here it goes! I love a challenge! Sadness, strength, mystery, a little bit of romance and fresh starts. A fiction novel with something for everyone! Starting a new year can be difficult for someone who is grieving a loss... A New Year is commonly regarded as a fresh start, a new way of life. And in more ways than one this is true for someone who has lost a loved one. Stepping into a new year without that person that they loved. Please be gentle to those that are grieving. Rx www.robinahaines.com.au See more

09.01.2022 #sundaystats - Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Did you know breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Is...lander women? Only around 5-10% of breast cancers are due to a strong family history. More than half of all breast cancers in Australia are discovered by the woman herself or her own doctor. That’s why getting to know your breast, checking regularly and reporting any changes to your GP are so important for women of all ages. You should also have regular mammogram screening. If you are over 40, you can arrange to have a FREE mammogram with BreastScreen WA every two years by calling 13 20 50. For more information on what to look for go to https://bit.ly/35fvSdj and don't forget to share this with your #breastfriends! #breastfriends #breastcancer #breastcancercarewa #breastscreenwa
