15.01.2022 Auskick and Mini League is currently still going ahead.

15.01.2022 Seasons Greetings Well what a year 2020 has bought us. I’d briefly like to once again thank ALL participants who took part in our Auskick and Mini League program for season 2020. Also to ALL the coaches and Volunteers who helped and gave up their time to assist our up and coming footy stars. I can gladly say we will be back before you know it in season 2021, commencing in mid March, with registrations now open for those interested. Can I please ask anyone, mums, dads, nana,... pops, whoever, who is keen and interested to assist with Auskick (group leaders as well as weekly helpers) and Mini League (coaches, umpires and weekly helpers) to please give it some serious thought over the holiday period. Your assistance is hugely welcome and greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. In closing I wish All our participants and their families a very merry Christmas and a happy new year and look forward to seeing you all in 2021 Cheers Dipper

14.01.2022 Well what a night was the first Auskick session for 2020. Thank you to all.

13.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 Auskick and Mini League (as it operates under the Auskick banner) has been suspended at least until May 31st. Please click on the link for the official statement issued today at 4.48pm. I only know as much as this article shares and im working on finding answers to questions but please be patient as there is no precedent for such an event so problem resolution will be slow and spasmodic. Please look after yourselves and take the necessary precautions to stop ...the devastating spread of Covid-19. https://play.afl/content/afl-update-covid-19-17-march-2020

13.01.2022 To all parents/guardians of all Auskick and mini league players, With 4 weeks remaining, including tomorrow night, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all volunteers, coaches, umpires etc. for your continued support. Appreciate your help each and every week thus far and again, I put the call out to any parent or guardian or anyone who is willing and able to assist with either Auskick (from 5pm to 6pm) or mini league over the remaining weeks to please pu...t your hand up. The more the merrier. Auskick especially. We try to make it as fun and active as possible. We have good size groups, so the more helpers the more we can split groups. Auskick helpers, may I ask if youre available to meet at The Auskick shed at 4.50pm and make yourself known to myself and I can hand you a red vest and get everyone sorted. Also, following on from Joshs post earlier in week regarding 5/6 Blue team helpers and jumpers... thank you to those who have put their hand up to assist in the remaining weeks and also alternate washing jumpers. Very much appreciated. Any dramas please just yell. Ill be floating around in the Auskick Hoody Again thank you Cheers Dwayne

13.01.2022 Hi all, We are back, with the Mini League starting this Friday night. Hopefully a Letter, Roster and Code of Conduct will come home in your childs school bag (please check) in the next day or so and the school will of taken their name and emailed to me. I am still missing a lot of Jumpers. Has someone got a full set?... Auskick will start the following Friday, July 31st.

12.01.2022 Mini League Announcement REGISTRATIONS NOW DUE NO PAY, NO PLAY

11.01.2022 5 weeks in a row parents or coach of the opposite team has taken Ulv Blues 5/6 jumpers home to be washed. This is very disappointing that not 1 parent of the 10-12 kids is willing to come onto the ground collect them up from their children and take home to wash. Most other teams have 3 or 4 that take in turns, which is still not great as i believe that every player should have a parent come collect and have their turn of taking them home to wash. Ulv Blue is also now the only team that has not got one parent that is happy to supervise/coach, goal umpire, umpire. Not 1 parent seen. I would appreciate more help from the parents of this team please.

11.01.2022 Auskick and Mini League will commence in Term 3. Dates will be formalised this week and posted here and in school newsletters.

10.01.2022 Registrations now open Starts Friday March 27th Auskick (K-2) 5pm Mini League (3-6) 4pm or 6pm Roster coming soon... https://membership.sportstg.com/regoform.cgi

09.01.2022 AUSKICK UPDATE We currently have no Group Leaders for any of the 4 age groups. No experience or specific requirements needed. If at all interested or willing to step up please contact me via mobile or message to discuss.... Without new volunteers and support the longevity of our program will dramatically decrease and possibly cease.

09.01.2022 HELP REQUIRED PLEASE!! To all parents/carers/guardians, if anyone (male or female) is willing and able to assist tonight with Auskick or mini league, please put your hand up. Particularly with Auskick. We have quite a good role up of participants and are sometimes short on helpers. If you can assist with Auskick please meet at the Auskick shed at 4.50pm tonight or any other Friday night and make yourself known. It would be greatly appreciated ... Regards Dwayne See more

02.01.2022 Recently I was invited to the North West Community Football Awards Night to help celebrate, recognise and reward the incredible people we have on the coast that support our local leagues and programs through coaching, umpiring, training and volunteering. With no expectation of being more than a spectator I was completely blown away and extremely humbled when my name was called out for Auskick Volunteer of the Year in recognition for the work as coordinator of the biggest Ausk...ick Centre in the state. Im sharing this as I believe that this is not just my award but one for us all to be proud of and enjoy. Recognition for the many people that have previously or continue to help the program from Kinder to Grade 6. People may look and see just one coordinator with no committee and assume it to be a massive job but Im under no illusion that this isnt a role or a scenario that would be achievable without the many that dont wait to be asked but just jump the fence and ask what do I do?, Troy Davies, Mark Frankcombe, Dipper Aherne, Shaun Conkie, Jamie Claridge, Matt Knowles, Dean Smith, Scott Nicolle, Aaron Marshall, Al Clemons, Nath Burton, Xav Harris, Adam Devries, Kristian Thomas, Tim Mee, Sam Mawer and many more, just role up year after year and play a role, never asked or coaxed. The unconditional support of the Ulverstone Football Club with no one more prominent than Doreen Leary, but not alone with Andrew Leary, Phil Snare or Scott Peace never being more than a phone call away. I am very proud that our program is the biggest and maybe biased but the best, and all this was the case long before I took the helm with Adrian Quaile playing a massive role in getting it back to the club then Richard Smith taking it to Friday nights and in turn doubling registrations within 2 years. I am merely a caretaker of their great work continuing the processes they implemented. So thank you to all mentioned plus the many more that are part of our wonderful community, which makes my role so enjoyable. See more

01.01.2022 To all coaches, players, parents, carers and supporters, thank you very much for making Rnd 1 such a success by following the guidelines and making it such a positive experience for all. See you all next Friday
