22.01.2022 ROBLES FRIDAY MILONGA AND CLASSES CANCELLED TILL FURTHER NOTICE! 3 weeks ago we drove to the most affected bushfire areas in both Victoria and New South Wales, ...there is SO much more work to do! I took cash with me to donate straight to the hands of the people in need (not that I don't trust some of the organizations that take 70% in admin fees!!) I met a few people that had lost absolutely everything. Today I have made the decision to close the Milonga to help protect our community from the possible spread of viruses. A very good friend of mine (veteran Tango dancer) suggested that the community might be happy to donate in the same way, in these disastrous times, as all we are trying to do is to maintain the studio open. We all know very well that a dance studio is defenitely not a lucrative business. Robles Dance is an open space that I created for people to have a place to GO OUT DANCING! for students and teachers alike. So I am asking for small donations equivalent to "ENTRY FEE"($15) if walking into ROBLES MILONGA ever put a smile on your face or if you were planning on coming this Friday.
