21.01.2022 Hi, Robo's back. Here is my latest creation. This was a custom order but if you are interested I can modify to your requirements. This one is 80cm. long, 40cm. deep and 47cm. high. Can be left raw or painted to your colours. The child's name is included. Cost unpainted is $150 and painted will be $200.

20.01.2022 Hi, Robo's back. I had the pleasure of making this toy box for a young boy with terminal cancer. The lovely lady that ordered it was gifting it to the family of this boy. Unfortunately I have been told that he has passed away before receiving this toy box. Even though we have never met, may I convey my sincere condolences to your entire family. Rest in peace Jackson.

17.01.2022 I was recently asked to quote on some wedding signs, about 25 signs in total some being 70cm. square. Quite a bit of work. Spent nearly 2 days doing artwork and costing. Had a meeting with the client and seemed more than happy and would speak with her daughter and get back to me. Well I heard nothing for several days so contacted her and still no reply. Two weeks have passed and tried to message again and find out I have been blocked. Who does this woman think she is? Does not even have the manners to reply. If you don't like something have the guts to tell me. I should send you an account for my time and suggestions that I gave you.

16.01.2022 Hi Robo's back. Seems like ages since I had anything to say. The workshop and markets take most of my time and this social media stuff really confuses an oldie like me. I need a secretary. Any takers? Speaking of markets, this weekend will be full on. BAM tomorrow afternoon and Calliope Historical Village markets on Sunday. Also there is some small fishing competition happening at Boyne. Just a rumor I've heard. Don't complain there is nothing to do, don't be a Norm just do it. Time to post some photos of new work I have done. If you like anything give me a call or see me at the markets. Have a good weekend. I nearly forgot. I have been experimenting with animal shape garden planters. Don't know if there is any interest. Let me know. Just note that the one in the photo is only a prototype.

16.01.2022 Hi, Robo's back. One year ago I retired and decided to put more time into my passion of working with timber. I definitely do not call myself a woodworker, that I am not but I love to create timber engraved signs and related timber products with the aid of a router and cnc technology. One year on and a lot of markets later trying to sell some of my creations with mixed results, I am still committed to my hobby. This Sunday marks the start of this years markets at Gladstone K Mart so hoping to see some familar faces and some new ones as well if you wish to look at my work. What could be a more perfect day than spending some time in these beautiful parklands checking out the many markets and wonderful food stalls. See you there.

14.01.2022 Hi, Robo's back. It has taken this to finally slow me down. Knee replacement surgery today at Rockhampton Hospital. Everything has gone well so far and pain levels are bearable. No that I have your attention I'll post some photos of recent work. Hopefully I'll be back into it ASAP.

09.01.2022 Hi, Robo's back. On a serious note how does one justify a hobby that affects one's family finances. I love what I do and cannot imagine sitting doing nothing but negativity from within makes one start to evaluate what you do. I feel I have the skills to produce quality products but don't have the skills to market my products. I give away more than I sell but don't get me wrong, I love to do that. That's who I am. A recent example is a near neighbor, a young lady with Down Syn...drome who turned 18 earlier this year. I wanted to give her a small gift so doing what I do I made her a small sign. Did I hear someone say no not another sign? Sorry that's what I do. With no markets happening over the last couple of months I have not had any return on expenses and this is not helping both physically and mentally. Do I just give up and stagnate. Just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe just pack the campervan with the dogs and take some time off. I certainly won't be missed around here. See more

Tomorrow night there are markets at the Calliope Central shopping centre starting at 4pm. and Sunday morning the Rotary markets at the Botanical Gardens starting at 7am. 04.01.2022 Hi Robo's back. Sorry I have not put up a post for some time as Barb and I have moved. A bit of a struggle at my age but without the help of my son and daughter would have made it near impossible. I can't thank them enough. The workshop has been rebuilt and I'm getting going again. I will post some photos of new work no one has seen yet. Also, a busy weekendcoming up with the Turkey Beach Tractor Bash on tomorrow and K Mart Rotary Markets on Sunday.
